Death Row Diner

The waitress was fantastic and helpful, however 5 of the 7 meals we ordered were unavailable and the manager was exactly appologetic, telling us she was busy when we tried to make a complaint. The good that we had was Ok, but nothing special which was unfortunate as it had so much potential.

The food was great with a good selection, although they had run out of a few things as it was a busy Saturday night we didn't mind. The staff were friendly and it was very easy to pre-book.

Food was really good. There was only one waiter for whole restaurant but he coped quite well and was responsive and friendly with all customers.

Lovely food and great cocktail menu. Would return again to sample more of the cocktails and the yummy food! Staff were friendly and service was quick.

First time we came was great, however, we could not say the the same this time as food was not so good but kids mikshakes were lovely.

Awful, table wasnt ready for time we booked, bar man was too busy to serve us drinks whilst we wait, 50 minute wait and no starters arrived so we decided to leave will not be returning

Was disappointed with the calamari, tasted like grease and flour. The mains were amazing. Had the steak burger and chicken one. Worth the price x

Very disappointed! Waited 10 mins to be seen to. Waited 20 mins at bar still not served. Walked out in the end. Won't be returning!

We really love this restaurant, and enjoyed the new menu as much as the old one. The Katsu chicken was delicious. The service wasn't brilliant this time. It was friendly just a bit slow, but I think they were a little understaffed. I also think they should bring back the Sundae with the deep fried Oreos ;) They've come back with a better selection of beers in my opinion.

Some mix-ups with the food order and a couple of dropped plates. Took a very long time and multiple attempts to get the bill when time came to leave Food was was okay but it wasn't the best service

Always great food and service... Burgers are amazing and everything is cooked fresh in front of you! Also great cocktails, an the price is good too

It is a great place to take someone new. Excellent food as always. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Friendly and approachable staff. The milkshakes are fit!

This is one of those rare places that gets dining out right. Starting at street level, you're drawn down to a mysterious low-lit basement where you are greeted by an attentive water or waitress. On less busy evenings you're given the choice of choosing where to sit (the rearmost centre is a favourite of mine). The attentiveness continues as you're asked if you're ready to choose a drink from the menu, or if you'd prefer have a few minutes to study the assortment of soft and hard drinks on offer. The food offering is exemplary, spanning from lighter bites (deep fried lasagne bites are a firm favourite of mine) to more hearty dishes such as mouthwatering burgers, steaks and chicken. If you're in the Hope Street area of Liverpool I'd highly recommended visiting Death Row Diner for top class food, not to mention the story that Death Row Diner is themed on.

Took a while for drinks to arrive considering the restaurant was nearly empty. But overall good food and friendly staff. :)

I do like the food and the decor, but the staff are like robots, not very friendly and we have never got our drinks before our meals. We always have to ask where our drinks are! That's the only thing I feel needs to be improved.

The food is nothing short of exceptional, service amazing and everything else just as perfect. Can't wait to return. Try the pastrami fries and the popcorn chicken, cool atmosphere and the drinks menu is a beast.

Fabulous service by friendly happy staff. Food was quick to arrive and hot, steak cooked perfect and popcorn chicken and burgers were absolutely delicious. Staff were attentive ensuring our drinks never empty and food to our standard. Overall a fantastic meal for myself and family of 5. Definitely return again.

Staff, food, experience all fantastic. Well worth a visit. Can't wait for our return visit. Only negative is that you would easily walk by the entrance.

Amazing food and lovely cocktails. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone. The burgers are incredible and they come equipped with a Lolly pop. The candy floss ice cream is also amazing.

Decent meals, we all enjoyed the burgers and ribs, buffalo cauliflower not so much. Bit disappointed that we ordered 3 different cocktails, and they couldn't make 2, and didn't have any white wine. Good but could be better.

Second visit to SEE and it was superb again. Love the place, great theme, venue looks great, staff are so friendly and the food is genuinely incredible. Have to go numerous times to work way through the menu! Also great varied music , not too loud, just right. Favourite restaurant in livrtpool

food ok, expensive for what it was . venue was empty but was a Sunday no atmosphere. staff friendly but almost 50 for 2 burger 3 cokes 2 fries and a side so disappointed

Great food and service - the popcorn chicken is a must! Loved the music too, loads of cool hip hop remixes. Need to go back ASAP

Freindly staff and good atmosphere. Loved how quirky it was and food was decent. Would go definity go again and would recommend to a freind.

Booked early evening on a Saturday. Wasn't very busy. Service was quick, polite and effective. Food was acceptable, not drop dead brilliant. A little overpriced for what it actually was (frozen chips). Would think about trying other places before returning here, although if you just want burgers/ribs/wings, that's what you get, does what it says on the tin.

Fantastic place and the food is AMAZING!!! Just returned back from America and the burgers are better here than America! Would definitely recommend this place.

Good food and staff. They accidentally brought my main (which was a starter item) out with my boyfriend's starter (not that I blame them) and they were kind enough to give me a free serving of it which I didn't ask for and took it home. Definitely recommend and go again

We eat a death row diner regularly and always have the best tasting food and experience. We tried the chicken popcorn this time which was delicious and as always I enjoyed a mountain of wings with franks buffalo sauce and my parter had a double burger. Excellent food, please visit if in Liverpool.

Really good food in an unusual setting. Menu seems a bit limited but if you are into fried food then this is the place for you. Friendly staff who don't constantly pester you creates a relaxed informal atmosphere that I liked.

Excellent food really generous portions it's also a great authentic American style decour. It wasn't a busy time we went but service was fine we will be going back soon

Love the idea of the place, good choice of food on the menu. My buttermilk chicken was a little overdone and they didn't have all the ingredients for the cocktail I wanted but apart from that it was a good meal!

I had Katsu Chicken, it was super tasty! Staff are really friendly too

Had the bucket of chicken, too much for one person needed to share. Best chicken I've had, nothing really compares to it. Gravy fries are also excellent

Excellent food as always. Never had a bad meal here, would highly recommend the Popcorn chicken as a main not a started. Excellent. Staff helpful and friendly as always.
