Great wee restaurant, food is always fab and staff lovely too.
My wife needed a pick me up and I thought of here the service is always warm and very friendly m. We love the food too as usual I had the lamb rogan josh with just a nan and my wife had her usual chicken makahani which is really unique a cross between butter dish and a subtle spicy dish match with fried rice and you have a happy diner. Will be back soon
My wife did not hesitate when asked where I could take her for dinner on mother’s day so I booked here and again was not let down. We had our favourites mi e is a lamb Rohan josh a really meaty curry sauce noble of your bright red curry here. My wife had the chicken mahcrani and loved it so would recommend both dishes with paneer rice and nan bread
Great food, and very good service well worth a visit
Worst service so far. No words to explain the food quality. Quantity and quality of food is so poor for the money we are paying. They ran out of everything we asked and served what they got but the food was awful to eat (even though we weee first few customers on Sunday). All the food they served we’re greasy, and bland. Not recommended.
A warm welcome, it was like we visit daily! The service was very acceptable with pleasantries throughout the meal. Food was as tasty as usual. Highly recommended.
Had yet another great meal and again the staff are very warm and attentive. We had our usual meals the lamb rogan josh is always a must for me here as the meat is really tender and the sauce is just the tight mix of spices. I went will rice this time round which is a nice addition if you want to give the nan bread a miss although I would normally go with the bread option as it’s always tasty and I had a bit of regret so will go that route next time which will be soon
Another really good meal lamb rogan josh for me and the meat was really tender pull apart and the sauce is just got a great balance of spices. My wife always has the chicken maharani which different to any other version we have had anywhere else but in a good way so if want different but really good then give this place a visit some time
This a great restruant with a different range of dishes which are really tasty. I would recommend the lamb rogan josh which has really tender lamb chunks in a meaty dish not overly spicy which is a good thing. My wife had the makrihani chicken which is like a butter chicken with spice and again a great dish and these are just a couple of example of the great food along with attentive staff so well worth trying it out.
Unfortunately the restaurant did not appear to have our booking. I told them it was booked on line and despite the restaurant being exceedingly busy they rallied round and moved a few tables to create the table for four that we wanted! As usual, the food was amazing. Tasty and plentiful. The staff were extremely attentive without being over bearing! All in all another great night out.
Attentive service as usual. Good food at reasonable prices! Drinks are also great value. Avid fans of this restaurant and use it for a great evening out.
Good service and food however very poor pieces of chicken for tandoori. Very reasonable prices.Decor was very good.Good menu choice with as good drink offer too.
High quality food, good service & friendly staff. Restuarant doesn't look much situated in shopping centre but the food quality is excellent and at a reasonable price.
Great atmosphere in this busy restaurant. Our waiter, Rahman, was attentive & amusing. The food was superb - very tasty curries spiced just as described in the menu. I think weekend booking would be essential, I'm not sure about mid-week. Not an expensive meal & wine is reasonably priced.
Very tasty food at a reasonable price. Friendly service. Would definitely recommend the Tandoori Lamb Chop & Haryali Kebab starters along with the Chicken Chettinad (if you kike a bit of heat) or the Winter Special Lamb Karahi (if you want a more gentle rich dish) for mains.
Nice relaxing atmosphere, the lamb was the best I've tasted, very tender and succulent . The waiters were attentive and pleasant.Good value for money, would recommend to anyone wishing for authentic Indian food.
This has to be the best Indian by far.. food amazing and service fantastic..been going for years and the over all experience is always the same... excellent
Wonderful fresh and authentic Indian food. Full of flavour and well presented. A really enjoyable experience was had and we woul not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
This was our first time but we will be back the staff are very friendly. We shared the vegetable pakora which was hand made and really tasty. The waiter had recommended a curry that I had not heard of before and instead of choosing a curry I knew I went with this other dish and it was excellent.
The food is really good but the organisation is shambolic! I did mention to management the unwashed glasses piled up on the bar, to no avail. This being the same comment I made on my previous visit. Things are REALLY bad when customers have to remove their empty glasses, place them on the bar, to make space for their food. Totally unacceptable! I don't have a problem waiting for food but it would appear that Take Away orders have priority. It is also not good having senior staff member arguing in front of customers. Overall, not a pleasant dining experience!
Delicious meal as always service great the staff are chatty and attentive all in all an enjoyable evening I had originally book for six pm but had to cancel, deli didn't have any availability but when I phoned later to make an order they said they had a cancellation so we had our night out as planned
Booked for Saturday evening and the place was buzzing. Plenty of staff and good service even though so busy. Complimentary poppadoms and pickle very welcome as we were starving. Starters arrived quick too and aubergine pakora amazing! Followed by the best fish sizzler ever. Can't recommend enough
We went for my husbands birthday and we were not disappointed. Fantastic food, enjoyed every bite, excellent and friendly service too. Will definitely be going again.
The food was absolutely lovely but the waiting time was a bit too long. Waited over 40 minutes for our main courses. When they arrived they were delicious
