Sitting pretty on the edge of the canal in Manchester’s Gay Village, Delicatezze is one of the city’s finest Italian eateries. Since it opened not too long ago, Delicatezze has already gained itself a loyal fan base with its authentic stone-baked pizzas and refined Italian cuisine. To dine in true Italian style, sit outdoors in the al fresco seating area and take in the views of the canal. Tuck into some hearty pasta, or order an exquisite meat or seafood dish like the cannon of lamb served with Bury black pudding, pea puree, garlic mash, pancetta frazzle and lavender jus, followed by a glass of wine or two to wash it all down. You’ll find Delicatezze located on Brazil Street in the city centre and it’s known to stay busy, so book a table in advance and find out what the hype is all about!
Very quiet when we arrived at 7:30 so we got excellent service. Very impressed with food especially 'The Plank' starter which we shared. Pinot Grigot was also very good. It started to get busy as we dined and seems to have a lot of regular customers. Prices very reasonable especially as we were able to use our tastecard.
We have visited the restaurant during the week for a lunch. Experienced a warm welcome. From the start we were served by friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food, highly recommended.
Waitress lovely Service great Pizza great Main meal , duck too fatty Sweet fries not cooked Looked basic for the price Would give it another visit purely for service and environment
