An excellent meal served by very friendly staff. Christmas menu had good choice and was well prepared. All our party really enjoyed themselves. Definitely recommend

We had steak that was lovely and very well cooked. It was £30 for two steaks and two large glasses of wine. Amazing value.

Nice ambience, excellent service, food was good apart from the button mushrooms they weren't get appetizing at all a bowl of what tasted like boiled mushrooms in a a garlic oil, we are them as we were hungry.

The food was excellent the starters were a little pricey but the main meals made up for it, and the staff were so attentive. Keep up the good work.

Went for early bird menu which was really good value. Paid extra for two steaks which were excellent and cooked to perfection. Service was good and restaurant had a good atmosphere and was busy without feeling overcrowded. Recommended

One of the nicest meals we've ever had! Food, presentation l, service, drinks all faultless. Quick delivery on food and between courses, and the man who served us was very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend and will defiantly be back.

We arrived at dempseys and we were greated by friendly and helpful staff. There were 4 of us and we all had stake cooked to our liking and we all thoughly enjoyed our meal.

Nice food good fast service. Has changed alot since we were last there. Restaurant upstairs almost a mini disco downstairs now. Good music certainly for people over 40!!!

Good food and good service. Reasonable price. We will go back the next time we are in Carlisle. The location was good. Only downside is that the bar downstairs was cold that evening.

The food and the service were both fantastic. Highly recommended to everybody. Even my very picky ten years old son ate everything from his plates. Worth every penny.

One of the best meals we have had for a long time. Plates were nearly licked clean. Dessert- sticky toffee pudding was so light. Staff were very welcoming and attentive.

I had a brilliant time at Dempseys. The bar staff where friendly, we had time to enjoy a drink and chat in a relax atmosphere before going to the restaurant. The staff offered outstanding & brilliant service. Food was delicious. Look forward to returning.
