For very affordable but high quality Indian dining in Dundee’s West End, you can’t do much better than Dil’Se on Perth Road. Just a short walk from the University of Dundee, Dil’Se is a perfectly suited filling station for hungry students, with a mouthwatering selection of traditional Indian and Bangladeshi options, suiting either a quick lunch break or a sophisticated but reasonably priced multi-course meal. It’s not only a student hangout, though, because Dil’Se – thanks in part to its elegant setting and sleek modern decor – is also suitable for romantic dates, special occasions and even business meetings. We could wax lyrical about the specialty massallam dishes with saffron rice, the particularly pleasing pathan chicken, their decadent Afghani lamb feast and many other things, but the easiest thing to say is just get yourself down to Dil’Se in Dundee’s West End for a memorable meal that won’t break the bank!
Absolutely lovely meal. Great atmosphere and service. Food was quick to come out and waiters were attentive. Our favourite Indian in Dundee. We'll be back!
modern and fresh restaurant, excellent choice and starters and main course excellent. Price fair and well worth it. Staff friendly and helpful. Look forward to returning soon.
Long story involving a previuos bad experience of carry out and voucher sent for free meal which said "any day" only when we booked where we told that "any day" was still subject to the three month validity. Voucher not accepted therefore we went elsewhere and had lovely meal. We will never go back to the Dilse.
