Amazing food, value for money, service, hospitality. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for the great experience. The degustation menu was incredible. See you soon!
Food was excellent. The serving on on the set menu (20 pound per person) was a bit small. It would have been better if the main, which was a seafood pasta, could be bigger.
Loved the place and the yummy food ❤️😋❗ First time there , been recommended by a friend and she was 100%right ❗ Will definitely coming back 😊❗
Lovely meal. Great quality of food , just missing a little bit of salt in the pasta and slightly overcooked fish but nice experience. Delicious dessert. We'll come back
Perfect, as always. Great service and atmosphere. As a Neapolitan there isn't much to ask for a London pizza to be honest. They have managed to accomodate our needs at their best - great place to watch Napoli, too!
It was our first experience here and we wished to try the pizza, that we expected to be truly Neapolitan style. Our expectation wasn't disappointed at all, since it was one of the best pizzas around the town, really challenging the ones you may taste in Italy (and in Napoli itself). We are sure we'll come back to try some of the several temptations offered in the menu.
Donna Margherita has always been a landmark in London for a good Italian meal. I hadn't been there in years and I have to say that even though the service is always great and very friendly the variety of food is probably not as good as it used to be. I also found the place very dark for lunch. Overall it's always a pleasant experience and will be back in the near future.
Great food, super friendly service and a relaxed environment. There are not many authentic Italian places like this left in London. We will definitely be back!
Lovely little restaurant in Clapham. Friendly staff and the food was lovely, especially the meatballs starter. Good quality food and well cooked. Would recommend and
The waiters were distracted in the kitchen. We had to go into the kitchen to find someone. The food wasn't as good as I expected it would be and the waiter didn't put our 20% discount on the bill until we prompted and then asked us to discuss ourselves.
Great service and the food was lovely - the waiter also recommended a lovely, not too pricey wine - a local gem, will definitely return!
The food was good, service was very very poor. When we arrived we were promptly told that the restaurant was having a very busy Monday night before being seated and not to expect quick service. A table arrived after us but were given their food first, when my colleague said that we were ready for our mains the waiter berated him, almost shouting, repeating that he was having a busy night. My wife also attempted to buy a bottle of champagne in secret, as a surprise to the rest of the party but the waiter just looked at her and loudly said 'I'll get a bottle of brut then'. My wife also asked for the champagne to be put on a separate bill but this did not happen and with the service and attitude from the waiter she refused to follow this up. I cannot recommend this restaurant after this experience.
Good service and okay food but not outstanding. Dishes a bit pricey but plenty of variety. Not in a rush to return to this restaurant
The food delicious, the service excellent. It was the first time, in three years I'm living in London that I ate a Pizza in as is done inItaly. I would like thanks a lot Gabriele the owner and Emilio a very friendly waiter.
I can't believe the good reviews on this place. I had great hope! Food is below average and the atmosphere is not great either. I was hoping for a nice traditional homemade Italian food with no pretentiousness to it and this did not meet expectations. Overpriced favourless food with probably low quality ingredients.
Great authentic Italian food in a small and busy setting. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked delicious, looking forward to re visiting.
Excellent customer service , great food and amazing environment to have a romantic dinner. The staff were very polite and the establishment was very well decorated and confortable.
Very attentive and courteous staff. My friend had a question about her dish (after it had been made) and the waiters were more than willing to explain the ingredients and even asked her opinion on how to describe the dish in the future. My food was delicious. Recommended!
Good food, generous portions. Nice ambience. Service thoughtful a bit on the slow side. Interesting dishes though not as Neapolitan as they make out, chips served with dips?! No ci credo!
Great food and great service. We had the tasting menu. Was very good. Especially the aubergine starter and the pizza margarita. Will definitely go back.
Food was fab. I had pizza - reviews rated it and the reviews were right. Friends had pasta and thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely go again!
great traditional italian food. not the same boring dish like many other places. the burrata was amazing and the wine card is real perfect and not to expensive
Fantastic food and host! Pizzas to die for. Very special place... we will be back when in area again. A real gem. Thank you all ..
Perfect Italian food and marvellous wine as always. Additionally the Sunday set menu is trendous value for three courses. Possibly the best Neopolitan restaurant in Great Britain
Lovely, traditional food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. A little bit pricey for the food and wine but nonetheless I would definitely eat here again.
great food great atmosphere, pizza is one of the best in town, also good wine list and a great selection of starters and pasta dishes
Booked Donna Margherita for a pre-Christmas lunch with 9 friends. Friendly service, good food and very reasonably priced. All in all, 10 very happy customers!
Nice food overall, clearly a popular restaurant as we had to wait about 10-15 mins for a table despite booking one for a certain time which was quite annoying.
Excellent home made authentic food with friendly staff. Was a little quiet as we were there very early before going to a concert. The ravioli specials were particularly good.
lovely place, lovely people! always good to spend an evening there. kind words, fantastic food, and Italiaaaaaan language. I look forward going back there! cheers
great place, authentic Italian people (I am Italian...). Pizza is very good and the service is nice. The place is also nice and characteristic. Highly recommended.
good value, authentic southern Italian food, with cosy atmosphere! bit of confusion with our booking at the start which led to a long waiting time, but we didn't mind as it allowed us to take time over dinner! totally recommend the calzone. only negative the table behind us was SO loud, made it difficult to sustain conversation in the end,
Highly recommended! For an italian in London, the best place to eat the real italian pizza. I have not yet tested the restaurant, but i will be back for sure.
Lovely authentic Italian restaurant only a short walk from Clapham Junction station. Perfect for a romantic evening. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for really tasty Italian food.
A little cold if it's quite empty, but the food is amazing. Best Italian food I've ever had in London and staff very nice. Totally recommended it.
Lively restaurant, pizza's are close to those you can find in Naples. Love the authenticity. Oh & the Tiramisu is to die for, would go again just for that!!
Donna Margherita is special - no doubt about it. The authentic cooking was way above the norm. Ordering our meal was a pleasure. Suggestions for wine and food were helpful and accurate rather than just encouraging you to spend a bit more money. Didn't want to leave!
Visited here as a party of 9 and the staff we very accommodating & welcoming. The service was excellent service & the food was delicious!
The perfect Neapolitan restaurant. It just happens to be up the road from Clapham Junction in London. Amazing food, incredible pizza bases and an outstanding ranger of wine.
I thought the service was excellent, the atmosphere buzzing and the food authentic. Only criticism was there was only one chicken dish on the menu.
