Really enjoyed Duncan’s, good food at a good price, lovely setting and brilliant staff

Staff very helpful and welcoming. Coffee good, but the scones were not great!

Food is always brilliant and they have the best staff who are always lovely.

Great food as usual. The restaurant was busy but this did not affect the usual high level of service. Back soon.

Again great service and good food. Broad gluten free offerings on the menu. I do feel that being a regular visitor the menu needs some reviewing as it has need a while since there were and additional dishes. Will still be back.

Always enjoy the food. Very well cooked, and very well presented. No long wait for food. In fact we come here for the same dishes each time, chicken parfait starter, tempura King prawns, and seabass!

First time visiting for a while. The restaurant has had a makeover and looks lovely. Great choices of food . The food was delicious. Kids menu was very good with big portions. We’ll definitely be back.

Everything about lunch for 4 of us was great. Saturday afternoon, pre booked online with ease. Lovely efficient service. The food was fab; 2 duncans special burgers and 2 toasted ciabattas Food delicious and fresh and well presented. Much better value for money than a nearby cool cafe restaurant. N8ce selection of cocktails on special offer. Always clean and nice vibe in Duncans. Recommend.

As always great friendly service. This visit we all had the breakfast roll and drink deal before 11.30. Very tasty Gluten free crispy bacon roll. Great choice Gluten free options on the menu.

We had a lovely meal for Father’s Day. We always choose to come here because it is a nice atmosphere and the food and service are good. I had the Greek salad from the specials menu and it was delicious! I really hope they put it on their everyday menu.

Duncans is a lovely place and the food was delicious but service was poor. Took an age to take our order and also to clear our table. Plenty staff on duty but not very attentive. Made our visit a bit disappointing.

Lovely visit. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Would have liked the cappuccino coffee to be a little stronger. Highly recommend a visit!

We arrived on time (12:30) to be told they required the table back at 2pm. For a lumch service I didnt see that being an issue. Our starter plates were taken away only 1:15pm, then our main courses away at 1:35pm we asked to see the pudding menus and a cup of tea to be barked at by i believe the manager as she was dressed differently to the other staff saying that the table was required back at 2pm. This was not our fault the service was slow but we were fully entitled to have deserts however after the menus were given it left a sour taste in our mouths and we then only ordered a tea for which at this point didnt come till 1:50pm. Wont be back again

We booked a table here for a meal before we head home tomorrow, and boy we were not disappointed… A very warm and family friendly type atmosphere welcomed you as you walked in the door. The vegan options were superb and very tasty if we ever come back to the area we will definitely be back for another fantastic 5* meal which was also superb value for money Dawn
