Fabulous pizzas and wine enjoyed by all. Great service too.
East Pizzas is a favourite, we always come back for the unique flavours, the lovely ambience and the welcoming staff. In our opinion this is a must visit in Edinburgh!
The food was delicious and great value for money. Outstanding service, our server was so warm and friendly, he went out of his way to provide us with a lovely experience!
Brill service, good wine, great atmosphere and not to mention deliciously different fresh pizzas.
There are so many average Pizza offerings these days that I was delighted that East Pizzas didn't disappoint. The pizzas aren't huge but they are very good and I would rate them as up there with Paesano and Baffo in Glasgow. 1926 Pizzeria is great too if you are west but East Pizza is the best I have had this side of town.
Great pizza, quality sourdough base with distinctive toppings. They don't offer a huge range, instead choosing to concentrate on quality ingredients - a philosophy which works for me. The wine was good too. Staff helpful. Prices very reasonable I thought. And it was great to have a quiet atmosphere, I enjoyed being able to talk easily without having to shout. Only slight criticism was we found the restuaurant a little chilly on what was a cold night, but we're people who feel the cold anyway. Would go again.
As always delicious pizzas from East- dough perfection and high quality ingredients. It was my parent’s first time, they loved the food but felt the restaurant could do with a few more touches in terms of decor to create atmosphere and a couple more options for the wine. Not withstanding these comments, we still had a very positive experience.
My pizza (one without a tomato base and with wild garlic pesto, goats cheese and mozzarello an onion was amazing. The base was a little burned though and my companion's vegan pizza was quite burned underneath and quite dry without the cheese. Filter coffee was awful, not recommended. Raspberry and bramble sorbet that my friend had was amazing.
Delicious pizza, particularly good kimchii hot sauce, and the smoked tomatoes were very tasty indeed. We will definitely be back. Friendly staff, tasty food. It is good to have such a tasty place in Leith - a treat to eat there!
Good pizzas and quite friendly service. It took a long time for our food to be cooked, and eventually the chef closed the kitchen because he said they were too busy. Shouldn't have been surprised - last time I tried to eat here we were refused a table and told they weren't taking walk-ins, despite the restaurant being half empty. If you're planning to go, make sure to book a table and be prepared to wait a while for your food!
