El Gringos

The restaurant was very quiet with it being a Tuesday night and we felt that we should leave earlier than we would have liked (we were three friends who meet up every few months and like to stay at the table and chat for a while). However, the service was friendly enough and the food was lovely. Good fresh home cooked Mexican food.

Very good food with a large range of choice. Very easy to book. Attentive and pleasant staff. Excellent value for money with the offers. Bit noisy with a lot of people in there, not conducive to quiet table conversation! Acoustics could be better (all hard surfaces). Would certainly recommend, and would re-visit.

I was asked how would I like my steak I replied well done, my wife reiterated very well done, and I said again no blood as seeing any pink meat on my plate puts me off the meal!. When I cut into the steakit was very pink inside, not well done at all! They took the steak away and cooked it some more, but by the time I got it back, my wife had nearly finished her meal! This was mean't to be a meal out together, didn't realise we were going to eat separately! Disappointing

Great food and pretty good service we'd not been here before so was nice to visit a different restaurant in a different town. Lovely evening

Great food Lovely service. Highly recommended. Nice ambiance with updated decor. Naxos burritos and Mex pot all excellent. Friendly staff very helpful with great attitude.

Very disappointed, food was rather bland not much to it and it seems that my special note of surprise birthday meal was ignored... many places offer at least a little surprise for the person or group but nothing...

It was a quiet night and we were the last table to leave. It was our first visit and we will be back. We found the staff very friendly providing an efficient service and plentiful portions of tasty food. Would definitely recommend.
