Serving up tapas and other Spanish specialities, El Torero is the perfect place for a romantic date or to catch up with friends over a bottle of wine and some small sharing plates. With its charming Spanish-style decor and red walls decked out with bullfighting posters, El Torero brings the charm of sunny spain to Leeds’ Crossgates. Share some tapas like the gambas al pil-pil (king prawns sautéed in olive oil with sweet paprika and garlic), morcilla con tomate(spicy Spanish black sausage in a tomato sauce) and
Absolutely love the food here and the staff are really nice! Deffo recommend - best paella/tapas bar I have been to in Leeds! Me and my partner visit atleast once a month :)
I've been here before and really enjoyed the food. However on my second visit I was very dissappointed. The food was rather bland and tasteless and in particular you could tell that the chicken and pork was not fresh but frozen meet.not sure if I would try this place again.
Food was great, order a bit less than u need portions are quite big. Staff were great, don't speak much English but we managed in the end. Been nice to have the draught beer on though
