2nd visit to this restaurant. The staff are very nice and attentive. The food is lovely, very tasty. We both had the house wine, I had the white and my fiancé had the red, both were very good. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Excellent value for money: food superb, service first-class and house vino very good. I would highly recommend the Greek Salad as a starter and the lamb for mains.

We had a relaxed evening, celebrating 5 years since the 6 of us had attended a major reunion at the British School in Athens. The food in Elia was tasty and plentiful; both the food and our beer and wine were excellent value for money, and the service was cheerful and courteous. We will be back!

Lovely food which does remind me of Greece. Unlike others, Elia represents a more traditional, street style Greek food than the fancy over the top seen in others. Very well priced also!

Food was lovely even though they got our order wrong. Went away to fix it and never came back so we just ate what they gave us rather than what we ordered! Probably wouldn't go back which is disappointing for us as we were so looking forward to it.

Great food, excellent service, all of the staff is friendly, smiling and supportive. Nice atmosphere, I will be happy to visit it again and to try more delicious courses they offer at the restaurant. Needed to hear greek music because it was too quiet.

Great food, lovely staff and very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We had the early evening set menu which was a good choice and fantastic value for money at £10 for 2 courses of large sized portions. Well worth a visit and a great location.

My first visit here and it is a real discovery. Had the bean soup for starters, not only delicious but also possibly the best value starter I have ever had! For my main I tried the Cretan style lamb chops. The size of the portion defeated me but the meat, potatoes and accompanying vegetables were all delicious. I finished the visit off with a glass of Mextaxa 7*******. A real taste of the Balkans in the heart of Glasgow. Highly recommended.

There 5 of us- 4 had the pre theatre menu. Service was very good, toilets very good. Most of thefood excellant, good Greek salad. The veggie moussaka though, fell well below expectation, no aubergine to be found and quite stodgy. Lovely whitebait, good value for money.

Vert pleasant staff, had nice table food, considering the price was excellent............... Greek,s pride themselves on their house wine, unlike the Italians.............we ended up with 2 caraffe's that's how good it was, AND at a very reasonable price overall an excellent choice of venue Question, would i go back................a definite YES

We had the two course early evening meal which was good value for money although it was not clearly advertised in the restaurant and we had to ask for the early evening menus as we were only given A la carte menus on arrival. Our food was good although my friend wasn't so keen on the vegetarian moussaka.

This is the real Greece. We had the mezze menu and really enjoyed it. The dips were great - a mile away from the stuff in commercial tubs from a supermarket. The dolmades were moist and tasty, and the Greek sausage was full of tasty herbs. The marinades used on the souvlaki were lovely. The kadaifi was moist and fresh - not dried up as it sometimes can be, and came with some very good ice cream. The Greek coffee was the real thing. The wines were mostly Greek or Cypriot. Just to complete the atmosphere we topped and tailed the meal with ouzo and Metaxa. with slightly less chewy beef in an otherwise tasty stifado this would have been a 6. The staff here are all very friendly and pretty efficient.

Pre theatre menu was really nice and good value. Only problem was a mix up with the food ordered and 2 of the 5 in the party had to wait while the food was reordered. Otherwise very good and we would go back again. Not a great selection but adequate.
