The staff were really helpful and friendly. the venue is lovely and food great and a nice change to eat greek food. had a lovely time with my friend, and the choice and selection on the early evening two course for £9.95 was good. Friend also enjoyed the house white wine and recommends it.

Amazing staff, were eager to help. Tasty food, too! The service was very fast (it wasn't very busy but still). Good quality for price. Recommend!

Excellent food and friendly service. Booked for lunch but needn't have bothered as it was less than half full hence a bit lacking in atmosphere. Surprising as it is on George Square .Will certainly be back .

Delicious food, served by friendly staff in the heart of the city. Our window seat gave us a great view of the Christmas lights and market in George Square!

Starters were good and tasty, arrived quite quickly. We then had to wait for over and hour for our main courses and had to ask how long it would be, no one came back to update us, the food arrived and one had to be sent back as it was cold and one of the others looked like it had been slapped onto the plate, the other food was fine. We then ordered 4 portions of cheesecake only to be told there were only two portions left and no other cakes to be had (this was 4pm on 9th December). We did complain to the waitress about the few issues we had and she was "raging". We did eventually get a grudged apology and 20% discount from our bill. We will not be returning anytime soon. Irrespective of the fact that the restaurant was busy your customers should come first, keep them informed, make sure their food is tasty, well presented and hot and do not run out of desserts!!!

Lovely meal, value for money and exceptionally good staff. An a round great experience. I use this restaurant often and have never bee disappointed. Lovely setting in George Square.

First time eating at Elia and we would definitely go back again. Good atmosphere, attentive staff (not overly attentive), great food and service was quick for a busy Saturday service.

Thus is my favorite restaurant. The staff are always very friendly. Considering the fact that the restaurant was extremely busy, the service was very good and food was brilliant. Just love it here.

Elia more than met my expectations as they had Lovely staff, tasty food at excellent prices, great value for money! Added bonus was looking onto the Christmas lights on George Square.

Delicious food but incredibly slow service. They ran out of pitta bread and we didn't get our 2nd course until we had been there over an hour and a half. Staff were very polite though.

Lovely restuarant. It was warm (on a v cold and dark November night) and bright. The staff were lovely and the food was, as always, excellent.

I have a particular liking for the food I choose at Elia Greek Restaurant, the experience of these dishes at Elia was to say the least disappointing. The Keftedes were hard, dry and overcooked on a bed bed of shrivelled leaves. Keftico, the lamb shank was more gristle than edible meat and I had to leave at least three quarters of it, what was edible was extremely fatty. The one redeeming feature of Elia was the staff who were very attentive and friendly. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody let alone friends.

I HAVE USED THIS RESTURANT OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR LUNCH, DINNER AND CHRISTMAS NIGHT OUTS, THE FOOD IS ALWAYS TO A HIGH STANDARD AND THE STAFF ARE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION FOR ME IS SO GOOD RIGHT ON GEORGE SQUARE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELIA.

Very good food and excellent and pleasant staff. Great room with lots of space, and they let you get on with chatting with your company and don't stand over you waiting for you to leave. Perfect.

Been for lunch at Elia previously and once again was not disappointed.great food and value, very friendly staff and the service is first class.will certainly be returning.

Starter of steamed mussels were very tasty and plenty of them. Main courses of lamb kleftiko and beef stifado were excellent, both were lovely and tender. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.

We visited Elia Greek on Tuesday evening for the early evening menu. The service was good, the food from that menu was good as well but not perfect as expected. The portion of rice was very small compared to all the beef sauce. The dessert Kataifi was delicious. We'll come back to try A La Carte Menu.

Fantastic food, lovely setting and friendly staff. Great value for money too on the lunch and pre-theatre menus. One of my favourite places to eat in Glasgow.

Food was excellent felt like we were on holiday however service seemed to be very rushed. In and out in less than 1 hour even though we asked for a decent break between the starter and the main course.

Another great meal at the restaurant. The meatloaf on the specials menu was one of the nicest I’ve had, the staff could be more helpful.
