Elyisum Leeds, in the Business Quarter, a stone’s throw from City Square, is home to authentic Italian cuisine in the city. There is nothing of spaghetti bolognese or lasagne here, what’s on offer at Elysium Leeds is high-quality, authentic and modern Italian food for Leeds’ in-the-know foodies. The team at Elysium Leeds blend their devotion to great, modern Italian food with smart, capable service and a welcoming atmosphere at the heart of Leeds.
Had a steak meal which was great. Attentive staff, good food and good service. I love this restaurant and recommend to all to give it a try.
Fantastic friendly service by all staff food top quality excellent value for miney
The food was lovely, the staff we're friendly. The only point that wasn't great was the temperature in the restaurant. It was cold. Other than that, I'd recommend Elysium.
There’s no doubt that Elysium Leeds, formerly the Elysium Restaurant and Café Bar, is dedicated to the city’s business people. Situated slap-bang in the Business Quarter, Elysium on Wellington Street is a great spot for the city’s suits to grab authentic Italian food, in the company of some of the city’s chicest bars and restaurants. The dining room itself is awash with minimalist touches and grand nods to restaurant throw backs (we’re looking at you, grand piano). Expect white tiles, leather sofa and glass-topped tables here.
And while plush surrounds are necessary if you’ve going to woo Leeds’ business crowds, it is the food that’s the main draw. Of course, no Italian restaurant would be in business without offering really excellent, thin-crusted pizzas, and Elysium naturally delivers. But aside from that, there’s also slow cooked belly pork, agnolotti al arogosta (a ravioli of lobster and ricotta which has nothing to do with any ravioli you’ve had outside of the Italy before). Wellington Street’s Elyisum in the business quarter in Leeds is an obvious spot for after-work dinner, so if you’ve heading over there at peak time, a reservation goes a long way, so consider booking a table if you’re after authentic Italian in the week.
