We love Escondido’s ! Will keep going time and time again!

The service was not great. We,asked for food to arrive as it for prepared as we were hungry Hut we waited for almost an hour before getting even the nachos. They forgot one dish and didn't bring it even after we reminded them so we asked them to remove it but they insisted on bringing it to us at the end of the meal telling us that they had burned the first lot. The second lot was not great and didn't really the description in the menu so we left most of it. The second margarita I ordered was a different colour and on tasting I found it was nothing more than lime juice so had to send that back too. All in all I was disappointed and won't be returning.

Fabulous service and excellent food! No faults on the slightest and would highly recommended to all friends and family without a doubt! Will be visiting again.

Had a lovely evening , food was amazing and service was fantastic. We were a large party and the food all came out together and we didn’t have to wait long..love the buy one get one half price on a Wednesday it makes the evening even more brilliant to have cheaper cocktails with a nice hot meal. Definitely going again!

Food was excellent and service was good - cocktails were nice just couldn’t fault it. Only thing was that they had changed the menu, not that that’s really a problem.

Really enjoyed the food, service and surroundings. Good choice on the menu. Great evening with family celebrating a birthday and engagement. Would return in the future.

The best Mexican restaurant I’ve eaten at, the service is second to none & we will be back. Great food well prepared & perfectly presented. I will recommend you, a friendly environment & a great place to chill.

The front door would not automatically shut so when people open the door it would remain ajar and leave me in a cold breeze. We thought the portions were a bit small but we found out when we got our bill that the sharing meal we thought we had ordered for two persons was only for one, hence being rather small.

Been here a few times now, never been disappointed, the food and service were great. Cocktails are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is friendly, will be returning regularly

Always a great meal here and great to see a new menu too. The restaurant were happy to move us away from another large table and this worked really well, thanks for a lovely evening.

Great service, new menu with interesting new dishes. Food was delicious and served promptly, with generous portion sizes. A nice comfortable atmosphere- comes highly recommended.

Awesome tasty food and great, friendly service. Nachos were amazing and the chilli con carne was to die for. We will definitely be back soon!

Great service , rose sparkling wine was out of stock , being a Friday and a little on the quiet side , I was surprised. The food was great. Would definitely go back

The food was absolutely lovely! The carnitas were amazing and the empanadas were super crispy. The services left a little to be desired, but it was totally worth putting up with for the food.

Lovely service and friendly staff. Great to see and good selection of vegan and vegetarian options. The vegan chilli was delicious, very tasty, highly recommend.

The most amazing service we have ever recieved, the staff were really friendly. We went to celebrate my sisters 21st birthday and they were brilliant throughout! Food was beyond incredible. It was our first time here and it definitely will not be our last!

Great atmosphere, food & service on a busy Saturday night. We were a party of six and all thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

Great value delicious food. Friendly staff. We had a party of 8. We preordered and everything was ready when we arrived. What more could you want?

Can't fault the place, this is the best Mexican myself and my girlfriend have been to. Great food, friendly staff and amazing cocktails, we visited on a Wednesday as Escondido offer 2 for 1 cocktails which is great value. Not the Mexican around but you do pay for quality here.

Everything was a bit slow waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drinks order, took over an hour for our food to come out. Overall very tasty and nice, just slow

Lovely food, great staff and friendly service! Nothing to fault (unusual for me as I’m really fussy!) Would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you love Mexican food

Staff were friendly and food was great. Only complaint really was that the online menu was completely different from the menu actually available. My husband and I had both chosen from the menu before getting there as we knew we didn’t have much time only to find that neither of our choices was available. I also thought that the chairs were really uncomfortable! Wicker garden style chairs with a very thin cushion. Would not put me off returning though as the food and service were very good.

The service and staff were absolutely fantastic so friendly and warm the only downside the food was nice but slightly over priced but all round a lovely little restaurant

I had my birthday meal with all the family there and couldn't have asked for more. The service was good as usual and the staff rendition of Happy Birthday although slightly off key was a real surprise and gratefully received. Our grandchildren were well catered for and thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

Atmosphere was a little flat Food was ok but not stunning Restaurant could have been a bit warmer Dessert and drinks were very good though I would probably return but not for an evening, better for lunch I would think

The resteraunt was easy to fin, great service and fantastic food, so much to choose from, came out all at the same time, would recommend to anyone

Lovely atmosphere and the waiter/waitress service was very professional a 5 star alone. I would like to mention we did think the sharing stater off Mexican platter was over priced for the amount of food received. Will we be back?.... maybe give Folkestone restaurant a try first.

Disappointed, food very bland and “non Mexican”. Dessert of waffle was awful. Place nearly empty, no atmosphere and long waits for food. Haven’t been for a long while but returned because it used to be good. Won’t be going again.

We went to Escondido's to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. We had a great night, the staff and food were very good. The only down side was, we were the only people (party of 7) in the restaurant and it lacked 'atmosphere'. However, this is not a reflection on the restaurant, it was just the time of year, just being 4 days in to the New Year! We would definitely go back :)

Great food, good, friendly service in a lovely atmosphere. I would recommend the chicken fajitas and the steak with mac and cheese, though everything we've eaten here has been delicious.

Amazing food, plenty of food in a portion, freshly cooked. Recommend the sharing nachos with pulled pork! You don’t have to wait long between ordering and the food arriving on the table. Very friendly staff and great value for money.

Gorgeous food, very friendly staff, mindful of the fact we were on a family meal, and so sat us away from the Christmas parties taking place. Staff even dressed as a giant chilli to sing happy birthday to my 12 year old!
