I love this place. The food always delivers. The decor is nice. For the quality and portion size the price is very reasonable. I tried the honey cake for the first time - it was heavenly. Everyone I have taken with me here raves about it after.

Unfortunately they served me meat dumplings when I asked for the vegetable ones. I'd swallowed a mouthful when I realised - not great when you're a vegetarian. Limited apologies and they should have taken it off the bill (I was too flustered to check). Restaurants need to be much more careful - what if it had been an allergy?

Fantastic restaurant with truly unique food A little disappointed that some dishes had run out but this is a good sign that everything is prepared fresh each day We will certainly be back

It wasn’t a such nice experience after all. The Etles Uyghur restaurant is a small busy place where there are Uber drivers walking in and out all the time, 2 large tables normally occupied by families and friends and a few other tables for couples. As soon we walked in, there was a table reserved for the two of us, so far so good. We waited for 10 minutes so the waiter could give us the food menu and at the same time another couple sat next to us. We were surprised with the fact of them having 4 small Asahi beer on their table...hmmm.... we looked around and checked the menu for beers/wine and apparently, you can bring your own booze since the restaurant doesn’t sell it!!! Wow. We had to order two “diet cokes”...to keep healthy...anyway, we order the Tugur vegetarian dumplings, few lamb skewers and a vegetarian Chaomian. After tasting all of these, we came to the conclusion that the dumplings were too watery, the lamb skewers were to greasy and Chaomian missed some lamb/chicken/tofu. You actually have to order a couple more dishes and combine them all to get a proper meal. For our surprise, if you ever go there on the first day of the new chinese year, make sure you bring cash because they don’t accept card. Overall: 3/5 Food: 3/5 Space: 4/5 Waiters smiling: 3/5

It's very small but obviously popular and the reasons are obvious too. The food is lovely, tasty, fresh and such good value for money. The bring your own policy means a great cheap night out. The staff are lovely, the young man serving us was very attentive and polite.

Had the sharing chicken plate and it was delicious! I really recommend having an extra portion of the incredible noodles at the end too to soak up the rest of the spicy juices on the plate. Definitely go for the spicy version too, you can get it without spice (who knows why!) We also had the lamb kidney kebabs and paprika salad. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
