Express Tavern

Unfortunately staff kept insisting we use the app which refused to work. Even when we demonstrated this the staff still didn't want to take an order - all very frustrating.

had a lovely time. The only thing for me personally was the music was a bit too loud when you're trying to talk to the family at the other end of the table.

An old favourite, spruced up but still great value. Great beer and fantastic music, champion.

The new marquee and planting schemes are really good improvements. I wait to see what affect this has come colder weather. Food of usual v good standard. But speed of service has definitely improved. Well done

Loved being able to order and pay online with the friendly staff bringing your food and drinks to the table. Food not the greatest but lovely outside area. Will be back for the drinks and the atmosphere.

Nice to get back into the Express Tavern, with its wide range of beers and vast outdoor garden. Worth a visit just to see the amazing new structure just behind the pub. I guess they used the lockdown time wisely to create an excellent all-weather outdoor (or pseudo-outdoor -- depending how the various roofs and windows are opened or closed) space.

Always serves up a great Sunday roast with great service. Cheers!

Great food and boy is it big! The Express Burger nearly did for my 15 yr old, but he beat it. And loved it. I loved the ribs. Very good service, friendly and helpful. GREAT beer and a large selection. Lovely garden. Top pub.

Fantastic Pub, great selection of drinks, service was brilliant and the food exceptional. I had a chicken/chorizo pie, never had such a filled pie, quality!

We have always loved this pub, been going for years now and simply have the best roast lunch and value for money. Also, the Ale selection is second to none all the time, guest Ales are great and a delight to test all the different ones they have :)
