About Faringo's Vegan
Blackpool prom is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UK, and where there are tourists there must be hotels and restaurants. On New South Promenade, right on the front and along the street from both Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the railway station, one can find the King’s Hotel as a place to stay and Faringo’s as a place to eat. They are one of the best Italian restaurants in Blackpool, and easily the best on the South Shore, with a menu that takes in all the finest that the bel paese has to offer. That means starters such as meatballs, garlic bread and mussels in white wine, pasta dishes from lasagne to spaghetti and carbonara and pizzas topped with all the favourites – as well as steak, chicken, meat dishes and fish. We’d go for garlic mushrooms with cream, onions and white wine to start, before moving onto the slow-cooked lamb shank with mash and an orange sorbet to finish, all washed down with lashings of white wine from the extensive list. Amazing food and really good prices! Staff are friendly and we would definitely come back! The best pizza and Eton mess I've had for ages!
We really enjoyed the food and friendly service, nice to see it quite busy too. Will go again if we are ever in the area.
The staff were extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a very pleasant dining experience and the food was very good. Couldn't fault it. Made such a nice change to have a choice of vegan options and not be stuck with limited or poor choices. Will definitely be back.
Excellent steaks cooked just how you want it. Good value for money too. Service very good too, owners are lovely people in a family run environment.
Had a lovely family meal here. Food was good and plentiful, staff were very helpful and polite. So glad we booked here as some of the large chains pizza Hut etc had ques out of the door. Only negative was decor a bit dated but it was clean.
A nice atmosphere and good food but we found it to be a bit bland. However I asked for them to make a cake for my boyfriends birthday and they brought that out with candles and the happy birthday song playing which was a nice touch. I would say it isnt too expensive and the manager was polite.
Friendly manager great choice on the menu. Main course portions were very large. Wish there had been a larger wine choice as I didn't really like what was on offer.
