Lovely food, polite and friendly staff. Will come again. 😊
I was really looking forward to trying food at the Feng Shang Express, due to it being a floating restaurant being established for some time. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed the location isn’t ideal for those visiting from out of town & the food was rubbish. The starters came out cold & I had to ask for them to be re-heated twice (different starters). The chicken skewers were too chewy, more like gristle rather than actual meat & the vegetable spring rolls were not fresh. The main course was too dry & the vegetable noodles simply had no taste they just added chilli oil for flavour. I don’t mind paying the money if the food is up to standard, however the opposite is true. Although the service was good the food was far too expensive for what was & I have had better take aways for less than a third of the cost. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody, save your hard earned cash and spend it somewhere that you will receive value for your money.
Nice setting. Portion sizes small and overpriced for what they served. Overall I didn't think it was worth the money at all.
Great food and atmosphere, would recommend if you’re in the area
Very nice not too packed & excellent food & service
The food was good but the drinks were over priced.
The food here is great! Would highly recommend. It is slightly pricey but would go again for a special occasion.
Everything about our visit was wonderful. The food was quick, fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. The look of the restaurant and the location is quaint and special. The price was a bit shocking, I'd just suggest keeping track of what you've ordered so you don't get a shock at the end.
Food was amazing, it was very quiet (we ate at lunchtime) portions were generous and was reflected in the price. Overall would recommend for special occasions, especially if going to ZSL London Zoo too as it’s right next door.
Food is just ok....I am afraid I didn’t find unique quality in it. Just Chinese ... that’s all.
Absolutely beautiful restaurant with superb food. Servers were all polite and helpful, with super quick service. Definitely be going again
Nice view over the water. Fast and attentive service. The restaurant was a little warm but we were able to open a window so it was not a problem.
Overall it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely visit again in future. On the downside: table was not ready when we arrived even though we had a reservation; we where given a bistro style table just by the side of the staircase - this was definitely way to small for 4 persons eating; it would be nice if staff have a more warm service towards the client. On the positive side - food is extremely good and through the years the food palate kept it's standard. Menu is very interesting and food not too pricey. Set menus are extremely worth it. Excellent location. Place is clean and ambiance is very pleasant.
Great food...Great staff..would definitely come again in the not too distant future.
I went to celebrate my first anniversary. I wanted a window table, we were on the top. But going to toilets downstairs, I saw the perfect spot just nearby the stairs, so cozy and zen. Food was incredible, one of the best chinese I have ever been. I am a foodie and this place matched all the tricks in the box. Truly recommended!!!
Visited for lunch for my sisters 21st. Food was amazing and setting was great. Portion sizes a bit too big for us but can’t complain about that!
AMAZING SETTING LOVELY FOOD INTIMATE & FRIENDLY RECEPTION.wow wow x
The food was very fresh and tastful, Great Service, Friendly Staff.
It was with my date and she loved the entire place!
Food was ok but what really shocked us was the service. Constantly being asked whilst eating whether we are done was shocking - at one point the waitresss asked us whether we wanted to pack our food (we were eating slowly) - shocking service
Amazing experience, something out of a movie! really romantic setting
Very nice spot on the canal for a floating restaurant and good quality of Chinese food. The prices are on average. Customer service very good.
Comfortable vibe. Great food and great service. This is all I really have to say but I have to type 25 words. I think this should be fixed.
Sat downstairs - service was perfect. Food was amazing. I see people on here complaining about the price but I went with just me and my girlfriend. We shared various different dishes and it came to around £60 including there service charge. Which I was more than happy to pay for.
Great restaurant. Lovely time spent. We visit the place for a birthday party, the staff was really welcoming and made us feel at home. I will come back.
Both food and a service are excellent. One of my favourite restaurants. Also a good selection of good quality wines. Look forward to my next visit.
Service is always very rushed. The food was generally pretty good - I guess the duck was a little dry! Venue is beautiful as always
Great fresh Chinese and Thai food in an incredible setting. Very reasonably priced to! The staff are very friendly and they accommodated a baby really well.
Fantastic staff and service, very helpful Great value for money. Good vegan options. Adequate parking adjacent to resturant Nice decor. Warm and relaxing. Children freindly
Went there for new year’s eve dinner. It’s a charming restaurant. The service and the quality of the food was really great. I will come back if I visit London again.
Great service, drink rather expensive, Prosecco rather expensive at £35.00 a bottle, but you could not fault the service and the quality of the food. The total bill was in £225 and drinks alone £100, bottle water £4.20 !
Lovely Restaurant. Starters was good but meat for main course had a lot of gristle. Other than that one dish it was nice. Service was very good.
Delicious food and a very interesting menu (which needs to be explored further). Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Only concern was that one of the waitresses was a bit over-keen to clear away dishes, glasses etc. Overall a great evening out.
Tasty food and one of the best Chinese meals eaten! Great atmosphere with beautiful Chinese lanterns as decorations. Wonderful location on the river and next to the zoo. Will definitely be back!
Food was amazing we shall definitely visit again soon all the staff were friendly and attentive we were served promptly my son was amazed at how lovely it was
Amazing food, I'd definitely go back there again! Also, the whole environment makes you feel like you're so far away from the whole London buzz, it was great!
We are a family of vegetarian food and they good variety of veg dishes and catered for us and the food was delicious. We all had a really nice time.
Food bland and warm , service slow, over priced, one chicken dish undercooked it was sent back and we were still billed for it. Would I go again NO
Amazing service and outstanding food. The starters were delicious and the mains were even better. We had the lamb and deep fried prawns, everything was so fresh and the lamb was incredibly succulent.
Had a lovely experience dining at the Feng Shang Princess. The staff were amazing and extremely hospitable by taking your coat upon entry to the cloak room, efficient service and a friendly demeanour. The food was amazing and I particularly enjoyed the duck pancakes and the pork dumplings. Would definitely recommend the Feng Shang Princess as a place to dine in a group of 4 or for a romantic experience with a partner.
