Sport screen facilities are great-if perhaps a little too loud for old ears ! Emma and staff very attentive, excellent service. Food choices good and reasonably priced. Great matchday atmosphere - have recommended to friends.

Great set up for the football as usual. Staff always friendly.

Appalling, table booked for 8:30pm, told from start no ribs or chicken wings left then after ordering starters we were told kitchen closed at 9pm so these would need to come out with main meals. Waitress had white tea shirt covered in food stains and was rude from the outset. Shame really as the venue appeared very nice. We will not be going back!!

We had a table booked but unfortunately was not told about the party of 14 year olds up stairs!! The noise was unbearable so unfortunately we left.

Picked this restaurant as wanted to watch football after meal on Friday night. Expected to be in a separate dining area and move to bar afterwards. However, arrived and found that we had a reserved table right in front of the big screen - which was perfect. Waitress was very honest about ordering the food in order to get the best service for the football experience. Food was good with adequate portion sizes. Locals arriving for the match were very courteous and no-one obscured our view. Service remained excellent, even when it got very busy. During the match, the sound was turned up and atmosphere was great. The whole experience was very enjoyable. Thanks.

My husband and I had a very rare baby free evening so had booked a table for 8pm in the fire pit for some food and drinks. We arrived slightly early and was very impressed at how the place looked but unfortunately from there our experience was pretty poor. When we entered there was a member of your staff stood near the door, so we stood by him and waited for his attention so he could show us where to sit. After a couple of minutes or being ignored he then walked over to a group of men talking about sport. A bit confused, we then went to the bar and told the tender that we had a table booked for 8pm... The staff member looked a bit confused and shouted over the guy that we approached in the beginning. He then asked us a few questions including 'are you sure you've booked up here?' And 'are you sure you're at the right restaurant?' He didn't look at any booking sheet at this point and just said 'I'm sure we'll find you somewhere to sit but you can't have any of those back tables as they've all been booked out for a large party.' One of his colleagues then suggested that we go in the caravan area as that was still free. I couldn't believe how rude he was- there was no apology or anything- we had booked a table and felt like we were just being a nuisance?! When the food eventually did come it was disappointingly average. My husband had ordered the ribs and wings, which were described as jumbo wings but they were tiny! The ribs were really dry and his side order of onion rings were overdone and tasteless. With you advertising yourself as a smoke house I expected big things from your food. The waitress never even asked how the food was?! We stayed and had a couple of drinks and came to realise that there was actually no 'large parties' booked in the rest of the restaurant but infact just alot of students having their Saturday night out. So we were lied to, ignored and just generally given a terrible experience. I'm sorry that we were such an inconvenience to your restaurant and staff, we won't be bothering you in the future! I would however, like to know one that this has been read and feedback has been given. I too am a business owner and would like to know that my staff are creating such a bad experience in a business that is trying to thrive. I thank you in advance for your response. We had to abandon our 2:30pm dinner reservation as the Fire pit smokehouse sports bar TV was so loud that the family could not hear each other speak. The team did accomodate us in The Potting Shed instead but they cannot take orders for Starters and Mains as the kitchen is very small and busy. As this was a birthday celebration family meal we left and ate else where. Also the live band in The Potting Shed was very loud too. I would only recommend this venue for meals mid-week at opening time where I have enjoyed a nice meal in the past.

First time me and my partner have ever been to fitepit, and will definitely be going back! The food was absolutely delicious (I would definitely recommend the loaded potato skins as a starter), with generous portion sizes... We were given the option of boxing up what we couldn't finish for later too. I think the guy who served was called James, and he was great, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great meal. Will definitely be back, I bet its a great place for a Christmas do. :)

Very hard to find when we ended up a dark back street by accident it was empty and dingey looking so gave it a miss

Food was nice, however the service and atmosphere is a different thing. We had a table booked for 8pm on a saturday night, we arrived and found we were the only ones there, by half 9 as we finished our mains it felt like we were in a nightclub, music blasting an full of clearly underage people. took me 20 mins to get someone to get our bill, and another 10 to actually pay it! Nice food but awfull atmosphere, i personally wouldnt recomend

Couldn't find booking, food cold, chips came 20 mins after ribs, but manager was very good when we comp!ained, have us a good Discount from the bill and a free round of drinks. Think it's just teething problems. Ribs great even though they were cold
