Fantastic! As a coeliac I felt in very safe hands, the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They use a separate fryer when needed and almost everything on the menu is gluten free.. The atmosphere was lovely and we had a superb meal.

Never had a bad mouthful of anything in this restaurant.

Excellent food and service. marinated anchovies were so good we bought more to takeaway. red mullet won the starters and mains were won by the tuna with halibut and sea bass running a very tight second. Brownie desert was more like a square of beautifully light soufflé. Nice relaxed atmosphere. 5th Jan is not an ideal dining out day as places are closed or dead so really pleased to have picked this for a birthday celebration.

Food and service very good only thing it was very cold! maybe a heater in this very cold weather?

We had a fab time. Thank you. It became a little chilly towards the end of our visit, particularly upstairs in the toilet, which had no loo roll. That wouldn’t put us off a return visit.

Great meal and friendly service. The excellent range of gluten and dairy free dishes is a huge plus for us.

Really good evening, waiter was lovely, and food was excellent, best meal for a long time and enjoyed by all! Well recommend the battered King Prawns and the battered bananas!

The great thing about Fisher's is that their ingredients are always fresh. That does mean they may run out on something. On our visit a shame they ran out of mussels which mean the Bouillabaisse, which is normally fantstic, was a little lacking. All credit to them that they then took it off the menu. The Sole with Serrano Ham and Lemon Posset dessert were great washed down with our regular Picpoul de Pinet

Shame there was no haddock on the menu but the skate was nice.

The Staff are exceptional and very attentive to your every need. Food is fresh and taste's all the better for it. Have been back many times and never had a bad experience. Would always recommend.

Lovely cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and good menu. Perfect for a quiet supper. Good wine list too. Mainly couples, friends and even a few lone eaters , if you are alone I wouldn’t hesitate to come here.

Excellent lunch., Salmon, Haddock & Prawns with curried rice delicious, followed by a supurb Sticky Toffee pudding, accompanied by a pleasant house white wine. A most enjoyable lunch.

We're regulars at Fishers. Some interesting and imaginative tweaks to the menu since our last visit. All dishes (and first-class wine) very much enjoyed. Charming and attentive service, as always.

Excellent and varied menu, good wines, attentive service. Accompaniments to starters and main courses particularly inventive. Staff knowledgeable, efficient and charming. Very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Rewards card gave a much-appreciated £25 reduction.

Nice restaurant. We asked for a main course (fish based, salmon and cos) plus some vegetables. At the end we tried the desserts. Good ingredients, good dishes. We didn’t like the desserts at all.

Good food with good portions for their excellent value fixed price lunch. We booked which was necessary as the restaurant was full. Super place for lunch .

Amazing, attentive service and great seafood menu! Loved the mussels and tiger shrimp as starters. Had the Salmon Tart as a main which was tasty. My family had the plaice and were very happy with the portions!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service spot on. However, there is no toilet facilities for disabled people and having serious mobility difficulties I found it extremely difficult to have to climb 2 flights of stairs to go to the loo

We enjoyed the food very much. I had requested a window seat but this wasn't mentioned and I didn't like to bring it up. The table was fine anyway and service, although a little slow at the start was good.

Beautifully cooked sole. Sham you have to order veggies as addition to your meal. Overall not bad for £20 a head. Nice environment and staff.

High standard of cuisine at a competitive price, good service and pleasant and polite staff, a favourite watering hole in Bristol. Good location with plenty to do and see in the vicinity.
