The Liverpudlian area of Waterloo boasts a historic name, and Florence, an Italian restaurant in Waterloo, right down South Road from the train station, boasts of the history of the city that gives it its name through meticulous Italian dishes and hospitality. The a la carte menu is brimming with authentic dishes, cleaving close to rustic, homemade recipes but served with a flair that distinguishes this cosy restaurant from the competition. It’ easy to imagine yourself gazing down upon the colourful, enerable bridges of Firenze from some peaceful restaurant terrace when you’re digging into salmon tagliatelle or even a classic British Sunday roast given an Italianate twist. Plus, with early bird specials served from Monday to Thursday, there’s more than enough reason to make the trip to Florence.
