We really liked the concept of helping ourselves from the salad bar and then being served different types of meat by waiters. We liked that we could eat as much as we wanted for a given price. Recommended!

Had to wait for our table even though we'd booked....servers were generally good but inconsistent as to whether or not they'd look at you. Boiled potato's noodles or rice to accompany not the best options. Salad bar was full and plentiful. Mixed experience

We are regulars here and whilst the food as always was good we were asked to finish our drinks and leave, disappointing when we were just finishing a bottle of wine.

I used to frequently visit Fogo and went back today with my husband and a family for Valentine’s Day. We all knew it would be busy inside the restaurant. Whilst the food was fine (definitely less flavourful than previous visits, and less meat varieties would come through to the table), our main issue was the customer service. We had a lady constantly come and ask if it was okay to take plates and cups away even though it was obvious we were still eating. They were very quick to push a second bottle of wine on us but did not give us the time to enjoy it with our food. When the last member of our table had just finished eating, the manager came and pulled his plate from under him whilst he was trying to take a sip of his wine and said thank you in a rude manner. He did not check if he had finished or not but pulled the plate away. This manager came to ask our table the age of the child with us. The child’s mum said she was 7. Rather than speaking to the mum, the manager then asked the child if she was 8 with an indication that the mum was lying. The child nodded to indicate she wasn’t 8 and the mum said she had just celebrated her 7th birthday last month. The manager did not say anything and left. Once we received the bill, he was standing with the card machine and seemed impatient for us to pay. We were checking the bill as we knew it seemed high and he left saying he will come again. It seemed on the bill that the 7 year old had been charged full price. We assumed that it must be the same price for all now as we had not visited in a while and we ended up paying the bill and leaving. Only once we came home and checked the website did we notice that there is a kids price for those 7 and below. This means that the manager did not believe what was said and still charged the child an adult price. I am very disappointed as I was the one that recommended the restaurant to our friends and have visited many times in the past with friends and family. Definitely won’t be coming back due to the rude nature of staff and the disrespect from the manager to customers.

The food and service was amazing. The only downside was I booked a table by the window, 3 weeks in advance and they only checked the notes when we walked in. Otherwise A++++

I enjoyed the experience but the feijoada is not the real feijoada, but the service is very good.

Warm welcome, staff were lovely & servers were great. The food was all really good. Only negative was that we were a bit rushed. By 10.00pm we really felt that we’d out stayed our welcome. To be fair we were the last table in the restaurant, but it was a Friday night and we were enjoying the cocktails, that was a shame.

Lovely environment and super attentive staff. The servers were exceptional always asking and making sure you had everything that you wanted so for this I rate them top marks. My disappointment came with the meat as most of it was really salty something personally I thought was way too much. Most meats were mediocre and expected better. I’m glad I experienced this type of eating but would I pay that amount of money again expecting something special I doubt it.

Third visit. The food was incredible. The staff were lovely and attentive.

Early evening tea visit after attending a show at Liverpool Empire theatre. Food was fantastic, this is our go to restaurant in Liverpool. Top quality all round.

Had a lovely meal with super wait staff. The gentlemen bringing meat on swords were fun and charming and our waitress was sweet and attentive. I don't eat meat and the salmon option was super tasty. The cauliflower salad a revelation from the salad bar. My family particularly enjoyed the chorizo sausage, rib eye steak, the gammon and the chicken hearts. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely food, besides the fatty chewy sirloin steak, well presented salad bar, very rushed to get you in and out was asked 4 times have you finished yet when we both still had full drinks on the table. Que was out the door, but rather than turn customers away we felt they tried to rush us out which was not the experience we was hoping for

Fantastic food fantastic service as always and such a brilliant atmosphere. Some of the meat was a little gristly but only a fraction of what was served and the flavour was 11/10. Beware the lock on the mens toilets jamming.

A great experience. So much choice, so much flavour and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable time. Will definitely go again and would definitely recommend (don’t overdo it on the buffet! Leave room for the important stuff!)

The food quality was not as expected. Meat tasted like it was not very fresh and also overcooked. Service was ok, not brilliant.

Amazing attentive staff. Delicious, fresh food. Plenty of choice and opportunity to have more. They surprised my husband with a free slice of cake for his birthday and went to so much effort to make us welcome. Definitely recommend and will return.

Some traditional Brazilian dishes were not available and others like noodles were available, I liked the service but I expected more options for the price charged
