Fourwards Restaurant

Not great parking due to an event on the park, then got into the restaurant and there were 5 noisy people trying to out talk one another. Not the best choice on the menu, but when we received our food it was nice. Would not necessarily go back.

This Restaurant is a Jewel, from the moment you enter you are treated with the utmost respect by all of the fantastic staff, they really are great at their jobs which relaxes and adds to the enjoyment. The food is second to none cooked to perfection. This is a restaurant not to be missed. Stunning food great staff !

From the staff to the food every aspect of our visit was exceptional. First visit but we will be back - between us we had roast beef, lamb, pork and sole. All superb and plentiful - wish we’d had room for dessert - next time for sure 👌

Been a while since we’ve been to Fourwards and it’s every bit as good as previously. It’s amazing how many restaurants have their own interpretation of a medium steak. This restaurant never gets it wrong. My wife had shoulder of lamb and it was perfect. The crème brûlée was extra special and the Lunta Merlot complemented everything really well. Couldn’t fault the food or service.

Everything was fabulous, my highlight was the tiny pickled carrots with my lamb and sweet carrot broth. Service was great as always

Trio of meats was fantastic, had Brie to start was a little disappointed with the size of the starter but flavours were spot on.

We came yesterday to try the price crunch menu. It was just as incredible as their normal menu. Food was amazing, portions sizes are very generous. You definitely don’t leave hungry. Always such a lovely experience coming to Fourwards. An absolute gem of a place.

Medium rare steak was rare. Tomato soup too sweet, service lovely and polite but i had higher expectations of the food.

First time visiting this restaurant since it became Fourwards. The food was superb as was the service and staff. Yes, the prices are higher end but you get what you pay for and we felt the price reflected the food. Presentation of the food was outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

The food I had was very nice, service was a bit slow and not very attentive, I had to summon staff a couple of times for drinks. My partner did have a large fatty piece of meat which he didn’t enjoy and unfortunately had to complain about.

Would highly recommend to all, great Sunday lunch. Give it a try!

Menu not as good as Ashfields (previous owner. Olives straight out of a jar, nothing special. Not recommended. Butter for onion bread solid very cold, couldnt spread it. Fish coating over cooked under the grill Overall wont be visiting again

Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We are here on our wedding Anniversary and had an absolutely fantastic meal in a really nice atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

We hadn’t been to Fourwards since it changed from Ashfields. Being a Friday evening it was busy but both our drinks and food orders were served promptly and staff were very knowledgeable about the dishes. Nothing was too much trouble and we can’t wait to return

Good welcome great menu and service nice atmosphere, first class !

Great service, excellent food but it would be better if the prices of the dishes were displayed on the blackboard so there are no nasty surprises when the bill comes.

The food was delicious, the service attentive without being intrusive & the staff very polite and helpful.
