Needs to have a proper menu, not just written on a blackboard. Also linen napkins, like the ones in the picture above would be nice, the one ones provided weren’t even full size paper ones

Great food, lovely customer service. Happened to have dinner about the same time as a birthday party so was slightly loud but nothing off-putting.

excellent welcome by your well trained attentive staff. impressive food selection, no fish 🐟 though apart from prawns 🦐 , which was disappointing. Very busy restaurant but we received most polite prompt service. Such a shame and most disappointing that since my last visit you have discontinued the draught Guinness.

An absolutely fabulous Sunday Roast, four different roasts, beef, lamb, venison and pork - each cooked to perfection - delicious. We just wished we had room for pudding, they all sounded delicious.

The food was nice but nothing to shout about. I had king prawns as a main in a cream sauce and it was very rich and couldn’t eat the sauce. My husband had lamb and again he said it was too rich and couldn’t eat it all. The staff were very friendly abd service was good. They added service to the bill though which I don’t like, I will leave a tip but at my discretion

thought a bottle of wine at nearly £40 with service charge was a rip off

Paying this amount of money for a meal is not an issue, but it may be an idea not to have children under 14 in the restaurant in the evening, as it is certainly not what we pay to listen to. We also feel there should be a dress code, at least not coming in tracksuits !!

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, so we decided on something special, as we thought. I had a T bone steak medium rare, it was cooked nicely and to my liking, but the gristle and fat outweighed the meat. I told one of the servers that I wasn't happy. She said that she would tell the chef. I didn't her from her again. I would not rush back, sadly.

Really good decor. Food was excellent and well presented. Just a shame they don’t have menus on the tables or brought to the table instead of meals written on a chalk board.

I have to say that we had an excellent evening, the staff are very friendly and if you have a question about the food they know the answer In detail. The food is excellent and we will be going back for more highly recommended you won’t be disappointed!

Had a super meal here. The restaurant is lovely inside, stylish and welcoming. Free car park directly opposite and a garden or bar area for pre dinner drinks or cocktails. The service was amazing (it was a very busy evening) and the staff were attentive and extremely courteous. The food was both a visual and taste sensation. Award winning worthy in my opinion. A great find, it was our first visit but we will definitely be returning.
