we found the whole experience to be of a very high standard from the time we entered till the time we leftthe staff were very attentive and friendly .the food was of a high standard and we will certainly be back again

The staff are both friendly and helpful, whilst the food is good but also reasonably priced and it is in a very central location too.

Fantastic food and friendly staff. Have eaten here a few times and have enjoyed it every time. We were served quickly and werent waiting for long until the food was ready

Booked a table which wasn’t booked, service was good but table booked for our 48 wedding anniversary bit disappointed with that. But meal and service excellent

Staff always polite and helpful, great food and great atmosphere. Resonable prices too, a lovely cozy place which i highly recomend, been twice now and will definatly go back

Very good service and tasty food. Nice New Year’s Eve party atmosphere. We will definitely return. The swordfish was nice. Also enjoyed the homemade desserts.

Food was nice and cheap. Staff were less than cheerful. Lack of info about specials happy hour etc. Dirty glass and flat lemonade/soda. Staff sneezing over tables while setting them up. Won’t rush back

Meal with family. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We had a great table and the atmosphere was lovely. Food delicious especially my dessert, Franco’s Special. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be calling again when we visit Carlisle.

Visit was for a birthday. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff were polite and attentive. Cannot recommend enough. It is rare that I would give such high scores (I too am wary of people who simply vote "maximum"), however, on this occasion it really does warrant it! In our party of 6 the food was excellent, steak was good size and cooked to our liking. Liver and onions were good. Chicken came with a good sized salad. Side orders were good sized portions too. Price was slightly cheaper than comparable restaurants and the waiting time was a good pace. We will definitely return.

Service good , my food was good and hot but my wifes' main course was served in a cold bowl which meant it cooled down quickly , she did not mention this until we left otherwise I would have raised the matter with staff , never had any problems before , probably just forgot to heat the bowl up , they were very busy. It is very reasonably priced , we will return again ,

We were delayed by traffic but our table was saved, staff were friendly and hepful and we were served quickly and efficiently enabling us to leave at our planned time for an event we were attending. Pizzas were delicious.

Lovely atmosphere, very Italian and the restaurant was very busy, so glad I booked, they were turning people away. Food really good, I had homemade meatballs which were nearly the size of a golf ball. Service quick and friendly too.

Fantastic meal as usual, great prices, all the family really enjoyed it, it’s always on the list of places we must visit when having a trip to Carlisle! Thank you and see you again soon.

Most of the meal was v.good. Risotto was bland. Coffee great .starters fairly good. Staff attentive. Will go there again. So not bad over all.

Ok but not great. Bit 80s where in comparison the completion had stepped up its game a bit they didn't seem to have. Not bad price wise which was good but I wouldn't have been keen to pay much more. Wouldn't rush back as there are too many better options locally.

very quick service and very good food, i would recommend francos too friends, and family and will be returning within the very near future for a family event.

Arrived at happy hour so the prices were very good indeed. There was an excellent atmosphere with the restaurant full. Quality of food was first class whilst service was prompt and attentive. Altogether an excellent experience.

Excellent food, staff very friendly and attentive, good mini choice, great cocktails. Great background music, decor very nice and in keeping with age of building. Would recommend.

Table a bit squashed in corner not much room garlic tomatoe bread not the best looked straight out of packet with a bit sauce poured over it but pizza was tasty and fresh

Lovely tasty food, very pleasant service. The risotto was beautiful. They could do with some fans to cool the place down though very stuffy in there.
