Fantastic food, excellent procedures, professional staff, great atmosphere, very impressed

First customers in after re opening, made to feel very welcome fantastic safe service. Will be going back again. Food was so good. Well done Fredericks for fantastic well thought out service in strange times!

Meals and drinks ordered prior to arrival all exceptionally good. All staff followed the social distancing guidelines and the way the seating was arranged left us feeling safe allowing us to thoroughly enjoy our meals. Could not fault anything at all

Booked for a birthday celebration. Couldn’t have had a worse table, right by the door, slamming after anyone came in or left and freezing cold. No one actually greeted us or asked if there were any additions to the pre-order, like bread etc. Had to go to the bar a few times to get servers attention. Everyone was happy with food. It was hot and everyone got meals together which was a plus. Just felt like we had been stuck out of the way and didn’t really have any personal attention. Servers were nice enough but a bit clueless when asking questions. Been there done it, won’t be back.

We were taken care of as soon as we arrived. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly. The food was beautiful and nice and hot.

Food was good but only two staff dealing a very busy restaurant so service was very slow

Great restaurant , plenty of tables well laid out and stylishly designed seating areas. Food was very good, Tapas options bigger than usual so ended up over ordering. But food was beautiful.

I know the restaurant has been getting some bad reviews recently so we were abit worried about it but we had vouchers to thought we'd give it a try again. The meal was great no complaints about the food at all, its just a shame how much the restaurant is being let go... we were the only table in there, no drinkers at the bar or tables eating and when ive been in the past its been busy everytime. I think they need to do some promotions/offers and get people back in because its a shame to just let it go down hill when its such a nice place. Cant comment on the atmosphere and there wasnt any due to no one else being in. i was glad there was 4 of us as if we had been just the 2 of us it may have been awkward. It really needs something done about it and quick!

First time here and very pleased with the service and food. Also very grateful that a sauce was made for me that wasn’t on the menu 👍

Tasty well presented food & friendly service & a nice bottle of Malbec (avoid the Romanian Merlot if you value your taste buds!)

We were originally booked in the restaurant via the website at 5.30, we received a phone call from the restaurant saying they don’t know how we managed to book that time but they would have to move us to 4pm due to there being a private party at 6. We didn’t have much choice as it was too late to book somewhere else We felt like we were not wanted in the restaurant when we arrived we were a inconvenience ! The service was poor The menu was poor the staff were busy arranging the room for the private party We waited between courses The sweet menu didn’t have anything left Yet our bill came to £140 Very disappointed will not be returning

We attended the New Year's Eve event, first time at Fredericks. It was a very enjoyable evening, excellent food and staff.

Veggie pasta was dry as though microwaved. Persian lamb was lamb in gravy tasted like it was in a tin. Expresso martini was beautiful.

Excellent food and service, apart from having to wait a while before being asked about a desert, but it didn’t spoil the night. Would highly recommend Fredericks!

We really enjoyed our visit to Frederick's. The only downside is that there appears to be a constant cold draught even though the staff did all they could to turn the heating up.

Rather disappointed with the Christmas dinner. Roast Potatoes were very badly done and stuffing was overdone. Just didn’t feel it was to their usual standard.
