great friendly staff and atmosphere. food is fresh and cooked to perfection. we live 150 miles away and visit whenever we visit family in the area.

Staff were very friendly and responsive. Food was excellent, except I was told that the Spanish tapas salad was very small, when it wasn't and I became quite full. steak was of a high quality and a perfect medium rare. Our table was too close to another so a lady was so close to me she was almost touching me, so privacy of conversation was severely inhibited. this last point compromised our meal and enjoyment of conversation between father and son home from university.

Early evening set menu a snip at £11.95 for 3 courses - paid £2 extra for a king prawn main course. Worth every penny and we will return.

Would suggest having a starter as a main wasn’t enough. Food was very tasty, atmosphere was cosy and staff were very friendly. A great place!

We had a very pleasant meal , staff were very friendly and the food was good . The early bird offer all night on a Wednesday is great .

Nice atmosphere and nice staff even though the service was a bit haphazard food was ok but could have been better would give it another try.

The food was excellent. The service was excellent....staff were friendly and helpful.....good value for money. Would highly recommend and will definately be returning when in Southport.

Do not accept a table upstairs, it's like an oven. Even though window just behind us was wide open it was stifling! Also, didn't have Sauvignon Blanc (one of the most popular wines in the U.K.) by the glass, went for their Chenin Blanc...undrinkable! Not properly chilled. Prices good though and food was good, staff very friendly if a bit unknowledgeable.

Been here loads of times and it is always superb ! No problems using tastecard either. Food and service was spot on again. Everytime my wife and I return to Southport, Fuego's is our number one choice of restaurants.

Super food, super service. Can’t fault the place. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Mexican food. Prices are reasonable and the menu is excellent, very varied.

The food was very good and we had the banquet for two, the only thing I would say is that there were two nacho dishes within the four courses and would have enjoyed more variety. The staff were very nice and are a credit to you and the service was brilliant. The toilets let the place down as they are in need of a make over they are very worn and really spoil the atmosphere of the restaurant, there was also a mop bucket with dirty mop on display in the corner

Excellent food menu choice and great service, Nice settings with just the right lighting level and background music providing a great atmosphere will be dining here again.

This restaurant is really lovely the food and service are excellent. It was also good value for money..The waitress was really friendly great night out.

Amazing food and the staff are so helpful!! We were looked after even thought it was a really busy night. The staff can't do enough for you. Food and drink is priced reasonably too so it's not an expensive night but the quality is second to none. Would highly recommend.

Just had four more fantastic meals at Fuegos, Southport. Havent had a mediocre meal there yet. Our favourite place to eat and entertain friends. Lovely, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We'll done all of you for making our night so special. Carol Dickson

Food is great and can't be faulted, but each time we've eaten here, we've been put next to the 'long' table for parties of about 20. Incredibly noisy and we literally couldn't hear each other, so the evenings have been spoilt.They need to have more 'tables for 4' away from these big groups. Sad really, as the food really is good- rather than getting a main meal each we always get a selection of starters and tapas....delicious!

This is a lovely restaurant, the food and atmosphere were fabulous, the best chimichanga ever!! cocktails and food prices very reasonable, will definitely be visiting again.

It was a good meal, was quiet but it was mid week so that is to be expected. Would definitely go back. All round good meal.

The food was great and there was plenty of it. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was buzzing. The availability of a good Mexican beer such as Dos Equis would have been nice. Would definitely recommend Fuego's to anyone who wants a great night out with delicious food.

Great restaurant with good service and the food is excellent. Good value too! If you like mexican food then give this place a try. Its a good place to just stop for a drink too. Been there a few times and will be back.

Really enjoyed the food was serving piping hot and the service was also excellent. Also 2 courses and drinks where less than £50 so great value too.

Lovely meal as always, the lady servicing us was really nice and they managed to accommodate my fussy husband which is always a great plus!
