We took the early bird deal 2 course for £9.95 before 7pm Sunday to Friday excellent value. The service was first class, always with a smile. We liked the ambience so much we stayed for a drink afterwards in one of the bars. We would highly recommend you visit.

A bit disappointed, we had looked at the menu, all wanting steaks, and it was a Sunday roast, and it was a birthday party . I wish we had been informed of the change of menu.

Music was a little loud where we were sitting, however overall was a very pleasant dining experience, staff very friendly, food excellent-definitely be returning!

Another excellent meal at our local Pub Restaurant. Old favourite Steak Pie did not disappoint while new entrant to the menu Pad Thai went down well too. Service cheerful and attentive as always

Quality of food was average at best. Average “pub grub”. The kitchen ran out of the special dessert before we were served.

Sadly Slow cooked beef cheeks with leek mash is no longer on the menu but tonight we had perfectly cooked filet steak. Attentive staff as usual. Great restaurant

Went out for a birthday celebration, food and celebration were v good. There was also a good selection of local craft beer and farm produce.

We had one gluten free diner and there was a gluten free fish and chips option, which was excellent. The local pork burger was extremely tasty also. The portions were good as was the service and it remains a firm favourite of ours for a good valued, high quality pub meal.

We often like to go to this Friendly relaxed pub The service is excellent There is a varied menu to suit all tastes but I particularly recommend the steaks which are cooked to perfection Prices are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend a visit soon

Warm welcome both by staff and wood burning stove. Service and food good. Gents enjoyed game of pool while ladies had coffee relaxing by the fire.

Yet another splendid meal. Proving very difficult not to have the beef cheeks . They are extremely yummy although the fillet steak is also very hard to beat . Merry Christmas

Thursday night is Steak Night. Brilliant value and yet again Filet Steak perfectly cooked. Service tip top as always and dished up by the ever cheerful waiting staff
