Hard to beat local pub /restaurant. Excellent value lunch /pre theatre menu. A great asset to the village and a brilliant option when visitors call
Thursday night is Steak Night and great value it is too. Fillet steak cooked to perfection (again) Early evening menu also great value. Consistently good food
Excellent food and friendly attentive staff. Very reasonable prices with tea time specials 2 courses for £9.95 or 3 courses for £13.25. Will definitely visit again next time we're in the area.
Friendly staff and good food. The service was excellent. Our orders were taken quickly and any questions asked were answered. Our drinks came, and although busy we did not have long to wait on our food, which was very good. Will definitely return.
Nice local pub with good food. Everything that a small village wants and tourists will enjoy. Good value for money across both food and drink prices.
Lovely wee pub, good beer and ok food, nachos toppings were good but the chips were poor themselves Haggis and chicken was tasty and very hot
Good quality food served hot and in generous portions. Choices were wide and would suit most people regardless of any health limitations. Service was good with time allowed to choose.meal
The picturesque Gargunnock Inn offers a good range of food and drink. There is a pleasant ambience and the service is provided by friendly and helpful staff. The set menu of two courses for £9.95 or three for £13.25 represent particularly good value for money.
My first visit to the Gargunnock Inn. Excellent atmosphere. Great selection of food on the menu. The service was first class. Will definitely be returning.
Great service, lovely food. If I’m really critical the steak pie could have been slightly hotter but was absolutely delicious, as were the nachos. Definitely come back
another excellent meal. I am running out of superlatives. Despite being exceptionally busy the level of service was as good as usual
A wonderful pub within touching distance of Stirling & close to lots of other places. There’s a warm atmosphere, great staff and incredible food/drink. Well worth a look as an alternative to choosing Stirling, especially during BIG events!
This is a lovely cosy restaurant and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The meal deal, two courses for £9.95 was excellent value and the menu had great choices, we will definitely be back.
Four of us thoroughly enjoyed our ribeye steaks - lovely taste. Onion rings definitely worth a mention too - biggest you’ll see and lovely light batter. Wine prices reasonable enough and nice feel to the restaurant area. Recommended.
yet another excellent meal this time with grand children in attendance. Children's menu gives good choice. Steak pie and filet steak were the order of the day. Both excelled
Wonderful friendly restaurant with great staff and wonderful food. They have a great knowledge of their menu and can recommend food you can rely on to impress.
Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend. Advisable to book in advance as it gets quite busy. Great value and excellent 3 course meal for £13.95 at certain times of the day. Can’t wait to return.
Visited as a group of 6 on a Sunday afternoon and had the most wonderful meal. The menu choices were excellent and the food was just sublime. I can heartily recommend the chicken with haggis and whisky sauce. Others had the chicken, black pudding with apple and ale gravy which was exceptionally tast too. There is a varied choice of starters and sweets and the prices are remarkably low considering the quality of the food. The staff were extremely pleasant, efficient and friendly, they were a pleasure to be served by. This restaurant has just leapt to the top of our list of places to eat when in the Stirling area! Well done to all at the Gargunnock Inn, Bravo!
Lovely cosy pub dinner, good menu choice, relaxed atmosphere, portions good and delicious. Good selection of beers and wines.!Waiting staff efficient and friendly. Been before and will be again.
Great food in a lovely village pub. Ordered a rare fillet steak - it was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. The onion rings are awesome too!
Good food with varied menu in a lovely atmosphere. Booked a table for 10 people for dinner- staff very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back
Another excellent meal. Fillet steak cooked to perfection and slow cooked beef cheeks that melted in the mouth. Kids well provided for too. Friendly attentive staff as always
Set menu is great value. Enjoyed our family meal on father’s day. Good portions and wide choice. We loved all the food apart from the garlic bread.

We went for a work colleague birthday meal and The food and service were great. Will definitely be going back. Cosy , clean friendly environment.
Good food, good decor in an historic pub. Village of Gargunnock is a great visit to leave the main road and rediscover an old village of Scotland that’s been bypassed by the new road.
An absolutely brilliant restaurant great food wonderful staff great setting We had a table of six and were served in such a lovely manner, nothing too much trouble and the food was top rated Will be back ASAP a total treat to a place
Friendly welcome Very good service The salad with the main course looked a bit sorry for itself. Did not look freshly prepared. And, overall, the food was OK/average
We are regular customers. Food was terrible as was service on Easter Sunday. We wont be back I am affraid. Very shocked, as never had a problem before. Owner was also very rude to us.

another excellent meal from this consistently good pub restaurant. Yet again the fillet steaks did not disappoint. Kedgaree seems to have disappeared from the menu but the menu choices are plentiful and all good
