An amazing experience. Intimate and special. The tasting menu had 20 plus new interesting flavours...wow. Great personal service and a running commentary to explain what you are eating from the staff.

We were three: my wife, my daughter and me. We had great evening in this restaurant. we ordered the 3 courses option, and it was very good.

Such a fantastic experience! I took my husband there for his birthday. The service was outstanding and the food to die for. French cuisine presented as fine dining. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairings. If say the wine pairing was a little on the expensive side (£39) however, the host was full of knowledge and told us all about the wine and food when it came. A lovely evening

A small but exciting menu . The 5 course meal was beautifully cooked and served with care . Excellent wine sold by the glass - unusual . Doesn't get much better

Small restaurant but you don't feel like you're sitting on top of each other. Very friendly, efficient service; delicious food from start to finish - we went for a la carte. Unable to drink wine but cocktails were fab. Menu changes every couple of months. No rush to get you out once you're finished eating. Live, unobtrusive jazz when we went on a Friday night. A really lovely evening. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed our evening tremendously. Staff very welcoming. The quality and imagination of the dishes was exceptional. Most notable were the beetroot , fish (brill) and cheese dishes. Many thanks to all at Gastronhome.

Star quality food in a friendly, homely atmosphere. The wine arrangement with half glasses is perfectly balanced, with special wines. The owners know what they are doing, and do it well. They have an eye for details and great service, making this not 'just' dining, but a truly wonderful experience. Definetely would come back here.

We had the 3 course lunch menu, food was beautifully cooked and well presented and it was value for money. The service was great also, would highly recommend.

It was a lovely ambience, petite! Staff attentive. Food I was interested in trying, glad I tried it on a Groupon offer! Beware of wine recomendations! £12.50 for a miniscule glass, guess this is where the money is. Saying that my sister picked a la carte mackerel dish, pretty as a picture but a qtr of raw mackerel was a surprise and she came away hungry. I was advised to try the lunch menu if returning! Will stick with tap water then

Food ok. However portions compared with other French restaurants were all too small. The pianist was very good. Too expensive compared with the overall experience

Excellent and creative food, pleasant atmosphere, good wines and attentive service all contributed to very enjoyable evening. I am very much looking forward to our next visit.
