Gaucho - Birmingham

Lovely place and lovely people from the second I walked in to when we left. Food was exceptional also. I would highly recommend. I took my children and their grand parents, everyone enjoyed it. Thank you.

Absolutely loved the staff, my meal, the meet and greet, the service and the overall experience. So walked in they hung our coats up and charged my phone. Then had drinks at the bar really quick table service and splendid cocktails. Then taken to the table where they explained all about the wines and bought a meat tray over explained in detail the difference between each meats. Had a starter, main and desert all were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Service was incredible, happy, knowledgeable, friendly chatty, professional staff. Perfect afternoon. Thank you gauchos

Overall a positive experience, good quality meat cooked to perfection. One minor criticism is that all cuts were roughly of the same thickness, and while a thick cut is suitable for rump, fillet and sirloin, rib-eye works better with a slightly thinner cut to allow the fat to melt a bit more. The restaurant should also replace steak knives as they were not really fit for purpose.

Excellent steak. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere. Excellent experience. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely worth the price. Would one hundred percent be going again. . . .

Overall experience was just average had waited a while to get a reservation and was disappointed to find it didn’t really live up to its recommendation. Felt very rushed from the moment we stepped in the restaurant and the steak was a let down just my opinion and I will not be returning

Excellent food and service, There are no windows in the restaurant, so it was a shame to be there on a sunny lunchtime, I’d go again in the evening or in winter!

A lovely decadent bank holiday lunch. Wonderful experience. Food outstanding and service very good. Would definitely recommend for a treat. Staff knew exactly what they were doing and happy to advise on both food and wine.

I booked a table for Saturday for 3 people at 1.30 which was accepted and confirmed. I then received a call from the restaurant that I could not book! Apparently they have an “electric brunch” disco with cocktails and French toast !!! Not my idea of lunch to be honest. I also did not like being told we could only “enjoy” this experience for two hours !!!

Fantastic food. My colleague's spiral cut steak best he'd ever had. My ribeye perfect!. Wonderful service. Top notch. Will be back when next in Birmingham. The staff were there when needed but not intrusive. Great job

Lovely venue, decor and table-settings, excellent service, made to feel special. An experience, not just a meal. Had a really, lovely evening here with our daughters. We all had fillet steak with various marinades and sauces. Absolutely stunning!

We had an excellent visit from start to finish: a warm welcome, perfect waitress service, exceptional food and drink, lovely ambiance, we will be back.

One of the best steaks I have had. Service could be improved. The bar staff broke 2 corks while trying to open our wine, then tipped the bottle upside down meaning I had a glass of sediment. Having said that, I would go again. Pricey but good.

food was amazing. service was genuine. had good knowledge. was my fiances birthday and they brought out a treat for him at the end which was a nice touch. would recommend.

Beautiful restaurant ambiance very good staff great.Food was ok not great.drinks £10 each portion cauliflower cheese £10 bit steep.Just popped in for Sunday lunch,wrong place wrong time maybe.

amazing restaurant, the ambience is gorgeous, and the staff are wonderful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. Their steak is amazing but I think the portions could be smaller.

Good food and excellent service. 3rd visit to the Restuarant in as many months. Disappointed the first 2 times as didn’t live up to my expectation. But surpassed them on this visit.

Staff were exemplary, ambience was cool, food and drink were, as always delightful. I've been going to Gaucho restaurants for a few years now and I've never had nothing but good things to say as no matter which restaurant I've been too the whole experience has always been fantastic.

Friendly staff and great food. The sampler is always our favourite to share and never disappoints. The overall look of the restaurant is lacking in everything In comparison to the other gaucho restaurants.

The lunch menu is very good value for money. The food and service were amazing - wine quite pricey but it was delicious. The special vinegar for the chips was a big hit!

Gorgeous settings and food is very good. Couldn't fault the service. Cocktails are beautiful. We went for the lunch service but will be going back for dinner. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food with great service. Overall a quality experience. A really child friendly place too as I took my 4 month old baby and the staff were brilliant. Will definatly be going back 😊
