Few things get the dining public of the UK going like a night on the curry, and with 10,000 Indian restaurants to choose from, the hungry punters of the islands are spoiled for choice when they think about where to get their subcontinental spice fix. Up in the North West of England, they have had years of movement from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh to their part of the world, and one of the biggest impacts has been the proliferation of curry houses across the region, which are the envy of many. In the West Lancashire town of Lytham St Annes – close to St Annes on the Sea train station – they swear by Gemma Indian on St David’s Road South, a curry house with a loyal local clientele that comes back time and again to enjoy their tandoori dishes, shashlik options and countless classic curries. Everything very good, food just as ordered and enjoyed by all four of us. The staff were excellent and kept on top of things even though very busy. You need to book on a Sunday night.
Lovely meal excellent service and very good value for money will definitely be returning for another meal with friends and for a take away at some point
