Lovely place! We were there early Saturday evening and it was quite quiet but no problem for us. All the staff were lovely and the food and drinks were super quick so we weren’t waiting around at all. Music was good and food tasted amazing - especially the bbq cauliflower ‘wings’. Our plates weren’t collected very promptly but we were hanging round to make the most of the 2-for-1 cocktails so no massive problem! Would definitely recommend.

Great food and service. I'm a meat eater but ordered from the Vegan menu- the Cheesy Seitan Burger is delicious! Staff are friendly and service is quick. Only negative which lets down the service score is that there's £10 minimum spend for card payments which is fine if you're ordering food and drink but was a problem as I was just ordering a drink and was only told after I had already ordered and the drink had been poured. Luckily, I had intention of ordering food later so was asked to leave my card behind the bar until I was ready to order to take the amount above £10.00. Otherwise would have had to left drink and run off to a cash machine. So it would be good to have that info made visible or told before placing orders. Thanks,

Really good quality burgers, comes with loads of skinny fries and pickles. Mac and cheese balls are super tasty and cocktails are a great price. 😊

Menu was so accommodating and the service was wonderful and kind.

We found the menu nicer when we dined there 18 months ago. The food was just ok whereas it had been fantastic before. Good atmosphere in the place though.

Staff very friendly and atmosphere ok but food somewhat disappointing. The chicken wings were tasteless and chewy and burgers just standard . Would return for drinks again though

Went there for a meal as it was a ‘bbq smokehouse’ - none of their bbq trays were available and it was early on a Friday night. Would not bother going again good we did have was average and wished we had go to one of the many other restaurants we saw.

Food was really good and came really quickly (it was a quiet Sunday night though!). Cocktail menu varied and good value. Seating could maybe be a bit more comfortable but all in all a good experience.

Great food with a Nice chilled atmosphere. The prices were reasonable, especially for the quantity of food we received. We found the staff very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely food and cheap also, service was good, staff very friendly, my only concern was that the food was put on trays that slid a lot, was hard cut anything without the trays sliding away from you, apart from everything else was brilliant.

Good service with really tasty food. The jalapeno poppers and brisket burger were to die for. Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the near future.

Sadly we didn’t stay. We arrived for our table at 8:30pm expecting a smokehouse restaurant, but met with a pub. Overheard staff saying that we’d have to be out by 9pm as we had a 13 and 17 yo with us, so we left.

Really really nice food, staff member was great didn’t take long to get food had burger and ribs and they were really really cooked well BBQ sauce was lovely. Will go again.

Not what you expect. Online and booking very misleading to what actually greets you. Limited menu with no prior warning, seated when we arrived and just left unattended.

A super rustic venue with great tasty food & a super selection of drinks. Would certainly recommend you give it a shot as you’ll not be disappointed

Had offers on the walls that's wasn't valid and wouldn't honour them. BBQ brisket was really nice. Not a massive menus. Would be good if they did pix and mix trays.

Food was delicious and the meats had a great authentic smokey flavour. Would recommend the deep fried gherkins. Staff were helpful and service was prompt. Drinks were very well priced. Will be visiting again.

The food was amazing much better than expected, great value for money. The cocktails were great value for money also.. we had a great time

Possibly just a bad day, but they had run out of pretty much everything on the menu even though we were the only table in there at the time! Brought the mains out without having cleared our starter plates away... and I didn’t particularly enjoy the burger I had, but it wasn’t what I wanted with them running out of the others ! Probably won’t be going back anytime soon

Food was tasty and staff were very nice. Had pizza and some loaded fries to share. Portions were a little on the small side but saw other people with burgers which looked really good.

Food was above average. However we were hugely disappointed that the beef rib that is on the menu (and on the website) was no longer served. My other half enjoyed her ribs, but the wings and brisket sandwich were both average.

Really tasty ribs, good choice of sides and good attentive service from all staff members. Music playing that added to the atmosphere in this ex pub that has been turned into a good quality eating place

Food was proper home-made grub with a very wide range of options. Great choice for veggies/vegans too. A bit slow coming (but there were 8 of us) otherwise it would have been 6/6.

Table booked, in a nice corner area, we were well looked .. Food not bad at all and good value as well, Background music just about the right volume as allowed you to speak to friends without the need to shout. The only reason I did not give it top rating, was a very drunk person who was not asked to leave but was in the small room on the right as you went in, and noticed a group of people go in but more or less came straight out when they found him there..

Walked in looking forward to a nice meal but instantly walked out due to the smell of disinfectant. Who would want to eat in a place with that stench?

The food was good with a decent range of smoked meats available in the day. The atmosphere made the experience enjoyable and the staff were pleasant

Excellent food and good atmosphere. Highly recommended, we shall be returning. The burgers were fantastic! The menu had good variety, a must if you like meat!! Service was very good.
