Shocking service the elderly lady had no people skills at all and having to ask three times to order food is a joke. 40 minutes to order and no smile or please or thank you. So so dissatisfied as it was a first date and came with confidence plus kids running round at 945pm. It’s not a kids play gym. Food was ok but the experience was so spoilt. So not good at all. The order taking waitress needs some people skills !!!!!

Eat here quite a bit, always delicious food. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Love the fact they have small and big versions of the mains and at sensible prices! Great place!

No greeting on entering Bar. Only one person waiting on tables, and one person behind bar, trying to serve many full tables. Had to find our own menus, and wait 15 mins before approached to take order. Bar area quite cool so uncomfortable to sit for a long period.

Exceptional! Loved the meal, service was good and the atmosphere was great. Have been before and will go again.

Food fantastic, service from team brilliant, service was slow but the team had warned us about how busy it was so you don’t mind when your warned.

It was explained that they were a member of staff down so service was very slow, especially waiting for the plates to be taken away and asked about coffee and the bill. One of the waiters was very courteous and concerned. We were not directed to the specials board and much of the menu contained fried food or sauces with cheese or cream. I have to avoid fat so opted for a rather bland vegan pasta dish that had green 'sundried tomato' pesto. If I had seen the specials I would have opted for a pan seared fish dish. Others in the party were happy with their food but felt it was nothing special, the chips were dry.

Good range of food , perhaps more vegetarian dishes needed

The food was lovely but the service was haphazard and slow. Poor communication between staff about who was taking our order; also staff were more interested in resetting tables, folding napkins and chatting amongst themselves. We had to keep asking for drinks and had to let the staff know we were ready to order. More training and supervision required.
