Food was great. The only thing that let the restaurant down was service: we arrived a little early for our reservation but were forgotten about at the bar, and we had to move tables after being seated. Small things but they make all the difference.

We went to celebrate my partners 40th. We ordered the porterhouse to share and we're very dissapointed as it was very grizzly and we ordered it medium rare and it turned up very rare so we were unable to eat it. However the staff were extremely helpful and attentive and they surprised my partner with a birthday plate of chocolate desserts.

I'd had a couple of recommendations for this restaurant so thought I'd take my husband for his 40th. We arrived early and were hoping to have a drink at the bar however were told all of the stools were taken up by people eating which was really annoying. Our waitress was attentive and didn't rush us, however for me the food, although nice, just wasn't worth the money. I am an avid Hawksmoor fan and Goodmans was no competition whatsoever. Small thing, but they also ran out of beef dropping chips, not sure how that can happen in a steak restaurant? A real shame as had high hopes for this place and walked away disappointed and with an empty purse!

Amazing service. Food is incredible. Wine and atmosphere perfect. My favourite restaurant! I'll definitely be back, incredible value for money! Brilliant way to spend our anniversary!

Still the best steak restaurant in London, great selection, but cut it fine with running low of certain bigger cuts. Can't wait to go back again.

Service was superb, really friendly. Food was great. The steak wasn't as good as Gaucho but it was still amazing and a perfect size. In fact for the price the overall portions were brilliant. The mac n cheese was so good I've not stopped thinking about it since.

As always excellent sides, dreamy steak best atmosphere for a date. We always go to Goodman for a special occasion and it is always worth it. Highly recommend it.

The young, blonde waitress serving us was incredible. Helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Her recommendation of the wines as well as the steaks was excellent.

very nice restaurant, amazing quality meat, very attentive staff. the waiter who served us was a very friendly and extremely charming guy. he also advised us on the red wine to pair our meat with, a Gigonda if i remember correctly; i was very impressed with his competence and, when i asked him whereabouts he did his sommelier course, he told me that he is still studying and has not finished the course yet. he really is a great asset to the business and his level of competence was so high that i m sure he will become a very good one. all in all, i cannot fault it, so will try to be back as often as my work schedule allows

Nice waiter but not too invasive. Food spot on delicious. Atmosphere a bit flat. A lot of staff but no great personality to the place to give the wow factor.

Wonderful food and excellent service. A perfect pre-theatre dinner for all the family. I am looking forward to getting my own steak knife in the display cases.

The food was very good however our whole table was over powered by the extreme heating situation. My husband spent most of his time outside trying to cool down! So disapointing. Spoit our night out totally.

Possibly the best steak restaurant in London. Not are the steaks superb but the starters too are delicious. The whole place has the feel of a men's club as most of the diners are groups of men, but don't let that put you off, it really is seriously good.

Excellent steak with a very extensive choice of both British and US beef. Starters were very good indeed. Wine list to suit all budgets and no one had room for desert!!
