Unfortunately on this occasion, we couldn't stay. On arrival, we were greeted by a dog running in from the garden area - the owner of the dog was very loud & unable to keep the dog at bay as it was running around the pub. We moved tables but unfortunately after a few minutes, the dog came bounding over to the point where I screamed out then we decided to leave the pub & go elsewhere. Probably an isolated incident but not a good experience on this occasion.

A lovely lunch with a work friend. We sat at table 35 (a booth table), I ordered the hunters chicken & my friend ordered the sausage & mash. Unfortunately, the hunters chicken dish wasn't good but the lady behind the bar apologised & offered a refund or replacement - no issues. I ended up having the steak pie which was delish! Fresh chips & veg too. Would definitely order that again & will deffo visit again!

Pleasant visit. Met with a former colleague for a catch up over lunch. Atmosphere was friendly, staff were friendly & it's a really convenient location. Am going back in a few weeks for a catch up with a different friend :-)

good food & staff team are very welcoming. it's a great spacious venue and will be visiting again soon.

Booked a table but unfortunately on this occasion we left after our drinks due to an altercation between a couple & another male. The staff were around & asked the male to leave but unfortunately the couple that remained were really boisterous. It made us feel really uncomfortable & felt that the male could return so we ended up leaving. I would like to add that I normally do enjoy lunching at this venue, the staff are really good, this was possibly just an isolated incident.

Table 48, ordered x1 all day breakfast & x2 veggie all day breakfasts! Service was great, food was lovely & hot & arrived in good time. Will definitely order again.

Went for lunch with work colleagues, we were table 36. The food arrived in good time, was a good portion & good value for money. Would definitely visit again!

Our main complaint was that although the restaurant was almost empty our food was no where near hot enough. We wanted a traditional English breakfast, ie one each of egg sausage and bacon but because it was after 12 had to have the full breakfast. I.e. 2 of everything. And it was cold and my husband found it unbeatable. In retrospect we should have sent it back. It would also have been good to have the table cleared from tea cups before the meal arrived to give us more space.

It’s a good place to be for drinks, food and music

Good food and good atmosphere, waiting times a little long but other than that would recommend
