About Green Chilli Café

Green Chilli Café Glasgow knows a thing or two about serving up delicious Indian curries with a whole lot of flavour. Tucked away in Kelvinbridge along Argyle Street, just a stone’s throw from Kelvingrove Park and art gallery, this is the perfect spot to relax, fill up on comforting dishes and catch up with your best friends or the whole family. Offering all your favourite curry classics as well as some house specialties you don’t want to miss, you’ll be in for a treat no matter what you happen to be craving. We highly recommend the chicken jalfrezi, spicy Goan fish curry and the classic lamb desi, but truth be told, it’s all delicious. Popular among Glaswegian Indian lovers, reservations at Green Chilli Cafe are essential.

The food was excellent as it always is. Unfortunately, although they had a lot of staff on, the service was quite slow. A couple came in after us and were served their drinks before us. It was a good 20-25 minutes before our order was taken. We mentioned to the waiter serving our drinks that we were ready to order but it was about 10-15 minutes after that our order was taken. It’s easy to focus on the bad parts but overall the experience was good.
