About Green Gates Indian Restaurant - Stirling
More about the restaurant: Green Gates Indian Restaurant - Stirling
Helping set the standard for South Asian cuisine in Scotland, Stirling’s Green Gates is an Indian restaurant with all the gourmet trimmings. Housed in a smartly appointed venue at the northern end of the city centre, easily spotted on the corner of queen Street and Viewfield Place, Green Gates matches style with substance. Helmed by expert chefs Balram Bhatia and Tarun Wadhwa, both of whom trained in top hotel restaurants in India, the menu at Green Gates focuses on homestyle recipes culled from the distinct regional cuisines of North and South India. Great value set meals (the two-course Friday lunch is incredibly affordable) and party menus are one way to get acquainted, but we particularly recommend the tandoori oven-cooked marinated scallops or seabass, the spicy bag-baked lamb shanks, or classic, creamy chicken tikka korma, all from the ‘special menu’.
