Food luke warm. We were not greeted warmly. The venue is lovely but food does not match. Quite expensive for what we ordered. Will return to my normal mediterrean restaurant.

Food was amazing, staff really helpful and brilliant service. Children menu a bit limited but choices for vegetarians and meat eaters. Would go back again

Our lunch was very tasty. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I could’ve spent all afternoon in there. I look forward to trying the full evening menu.

Food was amazing. Had a mixed grilla which is a great size for 2 sharing. Also kids boneless chicken an chips was a great size. Service was great will be going more often.

Food was lovely, surroundings was really pretty, but service was quite slow, food came quickly but drinks and extras we asked for was slow considering it wasn't that busy.

Great serivce and great food! My partner and I went for Valentine's Day and it was the perfect setting. I've also had takeout from here previously which was just as good!

Service and food where poor and we were sat in the entrance close to the front door so we were cold and had lots of people waiting on take away orders watching us eat not a good experience for Valentine's night

Lovely food and very friendly, if a little slow, service. All reasonably priced. Draught lager a little flat, however. Would it be possible to offer an alternative to chips, even though they are so tasty?

I was not expecting to sit at a wooden bench and I felt like I’d gone for stay in fast food rather than a meal. The food was very tasty just not what I expected. The service again was more fast food than restaurant, again just not what I expected.

Amazing food, great atmosphere. Food is perfect and never lets down. The complimentary dessert was perfect too and just the right way to end the meal. Even took home some of my meal as there was so much! Will be returning 100%

Booked this restaurant somewhat last minute for 5 people and a baby in a pram. Mentioned the pram on the request form and asked that we be seated somewhere suitable. The table was great, out of the way of other customers and with more than enough room at the side for the pram. The restaurant was lovely, it had a really nice atmosphere. The staff were great and the food was amazing. Portions were very generous and are great value for money. As it was my dad’s birthday we asked if they could stick a candle in a dessert for us and bring it out which they did no problem...the chocolate brownie was incredible. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.

Decent food, reasonable price and pretty decor. Downside was, it was so cold. The staff provided blankets for us so that was good, thank you. I imagine it would be great in the summer.

Started with a bad impression table booked for three pm but had to wait for over half an hour for our order to be taken for both drinks and food and the only reason why are order was taken was because the table by us shouted across to the first easier we had seen in this time to take there drinks order, they too had over half an hour wait. It still took some time for our starter to arrive and the bottle of wine ordered still had not appeared this came ten minutes after the starter. When our starter dishes were cleared away asked if we were ready for our main course said yes but this still took some time to srrive, the waiter apologised and said he had forgotten. Now the good news and why they scored a five the food was amazing the starters were ample, my son had saganaki (fried cheese) my husband garlic bread with cheese and o had the croquet all delicious, the main course my son had the mixed kebabs and we had the mixed grilla which was all four meats served with chips new crushed potatoes and salad the portions were massive far too much to eat but represented good value for money and we were able to take the left over meat home with us. They did provide us with free chocolate brownies and cream for desert i think as a further apology so our overall experience at Grilla was that the service needed improving, our table was booked in advance so there should not being busy was not really an excuse. But as the food was delicious and very good value for money the poor service at this time can be overlooked, however the table by us who also had delays with orders being taken once there main dishes had been served three people had been missed off the order and their meals had not arrived we left as this table was complaining so do not know the outcome. I think we would go back but until the service improved i think we would use the takeaway service instead. Maybe it was a bad day for them i would like to give them the benefit of doubt and perhaps try the restaurant in the future.

The restaurant serves excellent food, but most of alll has truly excellent service! The atmosphere in Grilla is fabulous. We will most definitely be back!

When your main course is brought out while some of your party are still eating there starters it’s not great. Food was good but we felt we were constantly being hurried throughout the time we were there...free desert of chocolate brownies were very good tho!

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. First visit to Allerton Road Grilla and it did not disappoint. The Greek salad to start is a meal in its own. I had mixed souvlaki which was perfectly cooked.

Food was really good, however the speed at which it was served was not. The gin and tonic was served with warm flat tonic and the soft drinks were the same. It's a shame because the staff were very friendly but they need to give their customers more attention and not leave them with dirty dishes and no drinks for 40 mins.

Excellent service, food great and very good value. Maybe do with a little more choice on the wine list - Sauv blanc was not great. But well worth the money. Will be back

The restaurant had a friendly and pleasant vibe , I loved all the fairy lights , the food was delicious and great value for money , great prices and big portions and as a friendly bonus the waiter even brought us a free desert ! 100% reccomend as a must dine place , will definatley be returning

Gorgeous, authentic Greek food. Lovely, Scandanavian decor and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Excellent value for money - a generous mixed grill was only £21 between us, we will certainly return.

Very stodgy food. Restaurant more like a cafe or takeaway with tables. Waitress seemed embarrassed at the amount of uneaten food left by our party! We wont be going back!

Today I visited this restaurant for the first time after being told amazing things about it. And as I expected the experience was all round amazing. The food was delicious and the staff were so fun and friendly.

Great quality of food, great taste and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the overall service was pretty good. We will definitely come back!
