Gusto Edinburgh is another fine example of why so many people in the UK associate the Gusto brand with elegant Italian dining. On George Street in the heart of the city, Gusto Edinburgh is one of the most sought-after restaurants around – one that feels a few levels closer to fine dining than your average Italian restaurant, but one that is still very accessible. Whether you’re dining at Gusto Edinburgh for brunch, lunch or dinner, the approach of the Gusto menus is quality rather than quantity, meaning dishes are designed with thought and then crafted with care once ordered. It doesn’t matter whether you’re eating a piece of fresh fish or a signature pizza, the food at Gusto earns full marks for flavour as well as presentation, each and every time. Gusto Edinburgh remains the first-choice Italian restaurant in the area for when an occasion requires some extra finesse, and reservations are essential, particularly on a Friday or Saturday evening.

Great food brilliant service will go back again soon i
We went on a week night so it was quiet compared to the Friday night we had previously been. The food and service were excellent. As before we ate so much we could only manage one dessert between us. Will definitely go back.
We arrived a few minutes early and were asked to wait at the bar after being told we were early. We didn’t really want a drink then the bar was really busy. We waited half an hour to be seated. The bar staff were very nice but had we known it would be as long it would have helped as I’m diabetic. However once seated our waitress was excellent the food was faultless all in all a good experience, we would go back.
