Food was good and also the service. Front of the house experience was below average. They couldn't found our reservation. They told us to wait 10-15 minutes at the bar to try find us a table. That's not acceptable at all. I don't think I will visit again this location

Overall, great restaurant and highly recommended. Food was absolutely delicious, also a long wine list where you can also find very good, affordable wines. Staff was very kind too. The interior was quite chic, good distance between the tables, only small complaint was the noise level.

It was a beautiful building with a lot of happy servers and wonderful food. However, it was so loud I could not have a conversation with my husband.

Nice ambiance, amazing food. Service was a bit off, though - clearing of dishes while we are still eating, 4 different servers, drinks arriving separately rather than together. 12.5% service charge is too much (regardless of level of service) so I requested that this was removed from the bill.

We had the Express menu (as we were going to the theatre) and it didn’t disappoint - it rarely changes, so we knew what we were getting. The mackerel salad was a good size for a starter, as was the potted beef. We both chose the fillet tail upgrade to the steak and chips and a carafe of a good quality, moderately-priced Hawksmoor red. We had plenty of time, service was efficient and pleasant (incredibly well-staffed, so no anxiety about finishing in time for the theatre) and overall a great pre-show experience.

Took my 'steak makes me happy' daughter to Hawksmoor Seven Dials to celebrate her 21st birthday. We were running late but staff were very accommodating. Food was excellent (belly ribs and rib eye with mash, mac n cheese and fries, sundaes) service was just as good and waiter sung happy birthday to my daughter. Mid week lunch so noise levels were fine. Recommend Hawksmoor.

We ordered 2 fillet steaks and they were cold. We sent them back to warm them up, but it did not help. The steaks were both end pieces and as I asked why; I was told that the juicy middle parts are used for Chateaubriand. Absolutely not worth the price.

Everything was amazing, it is exactly what we needed after a long day!

Came in and didn't expect much because we weren't really hungry but the food was amazing!! the spring salad was delicious (and the other dishes as well). The staff was welcoming, atmosphere was a bit too noisy and dark for my preference. The waiting time for food was a bit slow but overall an enjoyable experience. Will visit again when we're back in London :)

Brilliant experience, delicious food, really helpful staff. However, would advise greater care is taken when allocating the steaks as we were all given the wrong ones which meant swapping throughout the meal as we realised the mistake. Didn’t spoil the visit, but wasted some steak Asa result. Sacrilege! :)

Steak and sides were excellent. Both of us had espresso which were puny. But server brought topup and waived charges.

Was for a surprise 50th, a great atmosphere and gorgeous food.

Great service the usual impeccable food quality - felt the price is edging towards expensive. The wine was good but not worth over £100.

This was a return visit to one of our favorite restaurants in London. The service was excellent and our shared meal of steak and sides was as great as we had expected it to be. Will return.

Hawksmoor is one of our favourite restaurants in London. The Winslade Wellington was amazing and sticky toffee pudding is the best!

Our service was incredibly slow and inattentive. It would take several attempts to flag an individual down to request a beverage. However, when the individual did take our request, they were very professional, kind, courteous, and cheerful. The ribeye steak was not as tender as I was expecting and despite it being dry-aged, it didn't have the requisite dry-aged taste that usually accompanies ribeye that has gone through the dry-aging process. The bone marrow on toast felt a bit too overloaded with caramelized onions where all I could taste were just the onions and not enough of the marrow. The sticky toffee pudding was absolutely delightful and the highlight of the experience. I could have ordered several more had I still had an appetite. While the above comments may sound overly critical, these are minor nitpicky details and our overall experience was still positive.

Personell was so kind and guy from Portugiese was excellent

Returned 2 Steaks mostly uneaten as they were very tough and chewy. Waiter made NO comment/apology, no further action happened and NO adjustment was made to the final bill. We order desert and coffee but had to chase up the coffees as they failed to appear. We have been regular customers at Hawksmoor and this was the worst restaurant experience we have encountered for a long time. We are very disappointed as we were entertaining visitors from the U.S. who were less than impressed.

For the first time the experience was not great. Our food took over 30 minutes to come.

Living overseas I waited over 5 years to experience the Hawksmoor wonderful English Sunday roast lunch again. Only to be very disappointed in the food, served on a bed of cabbage ! Overcooked, stringy meat difficult to cut, and get the knife in, roast potatoes barely roasted, cardboard-like Yorkshire, and au jus nothing like as rich as before when i had extra as it was then so good.. Meal brought out to me about ten minutes after I put my order in., and barely warm. Overall ambience very good, quite noisy, food very disappointing, service courteous and friendly. Sorry I may not visit again from Bermuda. Must be a change in ownership…..

Great food and service from start to finish- will be back

Beautiful restaurant. The environment was great, the small Express Menu fillet was too salty. My porterhouse steak was a little salty too but not as much as the fillet.
