Welcomed at door upon entry with my name by the friendly host. Waitress very friendly and pleasant …told us she was new and apologised in advance but she needn’t have . Good service, very enjoyable food , good portions , recommended sides!! Wife enjoyed the passionfruit daiquiri !! Couldn’t manage a dessert even when offered on the house …..we were full !

Very friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Particularly a waiter called Aris who fetched my husband a cushion for his back. Great food. Lovely steak. Tasty and plentiful. Very enjoyable indeed.

Wonderful evening. Lighting downstairs was far too bright, but upstairs was perfect. Service fine. Steaks excellent as was the lemon tart. Sauces were disappointing with a split bernaise - still split on the 2nd attempt. The chimiccuri did not have enough fresh herbs and texture. These sauces were the only thing that reduced my reviews. Otherwise recommended.

Dreadful. Waited an hour and a half before we got our mains. Other customers gave us a round of applause when it finally arrived. People walking out and complaining. Not even a very good Steak. It was our first visit. It’s unlikely we’d return when there are so many other descent restaurants to spend our money in.

Over priced understaffed People complaing and leaving after waiting over an hour. Chicken was dry. Staff didn't have a clue who the food was going to. Overall not the worst place I've been been but not worth the price. Also very very cramped definitely need to remove a table or two. Ended up chatting with both tables next to us we pretty much elbow to elbow.

We have other steakhouses available closer to our home, but we prefer going further afield knowing we’ll receive superb service at this charismatic restaurant, where the staff always go the extra mile. We came to celebrate a family birthday on a very busy Saturday evening. This time, we sat upstairs. All the staff were very polite and attentive; the food came out of the kitchen quickly, was beautifully executed, and absolutely delicious. To our surprise, we received a birthday celebration discount, which was totally unexpected but very welcome. The atmosphere was buzzing, and everyone around us seemed to be having a lovely time too. If you’re looking for a stylish dining place for a special occasion to impress your guests, look no further—you won’t be disappointed.

Very small staff - felt like he was run off his feet. food was great but 2 out of the 4 of wanted the Lamb but only left! - then overheard staff tell another couple who turned up after us that they were out of Chicken - food management problem - also £32 cheapest bottle of wine!!

A very pleasant restaurant building, traditional and old, full of character. Well laid out tables on both floors. Efficient online table booking system, was able to get the time we wanted. Detailed and varied menu choices, not just steaks. The waiting staff were efficient and helpful. The food was excellent. The only downside was a mix up with the order which meant the food was a bit late coming. The waiter was very apologetic and the food arrived soon after we had raised the issue.

It took over an hour and a half for our main courses to arrive. They were apologetic but never really explained the issue. Food was good when it arrived but overall experience obviously affected by the wait

Service was poor. Items forgotten, orders muddled - drinks took a long time to come. However, food was v. good (apart from the side salad). Upstairs exclusive room works well for a larger party group.

First time visiting HK and had a very enjoyable meal. The staff were attentive and the quality of the food and wine very good. We will be visiting HK again in the near future.

1st 2 for 1 Tuesday visit. Not as good as our first experience, although still good. Order was slightly wrong, with the chips. Not a big deal. My minute steak was more grisly than the one I had a few weeks ago. My partner’s fillet was noticeably smaller than the one he had a few weeks ago. All in all, still good and we would re-book. The waitress was friendly and helpful.

The food was fantastic, the staff are always welcoming and Josh our server was fab. Our friends were really impressed and we really enjoyed our afternoon at Heavens Kitchen.

We used to visit the Farnham site but after moving to Crawley we were desperate to find a good steak house, thankfully I checked their website and saw they had one in Dorking, we attended the 2 for Tuesday, we each had a starter, scallops - were beautifully cooked, Steakchini - this was a little cold in the middle but nice flavours. main we both had a 12oz sirloin, 1 with sweet potato fries and the other with truffle chips, both steaks were perfectly cooked and cut like butter! sides, tenderstem broccoli - unfortunately we had to leave this as it had a very strong herb on it (Thyme I think) which was overpowering, carrots also had a garnish which wasn’t needed but this thankfully could be scraped off. the mushroom sauce is very tasty and goes great with the steak! We were so full we had no space for pudding although the selection looked lovely. staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was welcoming. We are looking forward to returning with our friends and family.

2nd time of visiting and still amazing! Will definatley be back as this is honestly one of my favourite steaks outside of Chicago and even compared to Hawksmoor and Goodman’s in London.

Starters and sides where very poor , steak was good but overall not great and very expensive so won’t be returning

They had run out of lamb shanks so we had to reorder. Broccoli was tasty but got cold very quickly. Otherwise food was very good. We will try our local restaurant next time, maybe for the tomahawk.
