Lovely ambience , like being on holiday in Turkey . Charming staff . Fresh tasty food prepared and cooked over chargrill in view behind a glass screen . Very good value . A favourite for all our family !

Although the food was as good as it ever is, it was a little disappointing that the high chair that was requested wasn’t available as all were in use and even when one became available it wasn’t offered making it hard to enjoy the meal completely as having to tackle a 8 month old to sit still isn’t easy

Good was delicious, service was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Have eaten here many times in the past and never been disappointed, would definitely recommend to a friend

My parents soup tasted like baby food, and the lamb was very fatty also the only this on the dessert menu we wanted was not available But the people where very nice and welcoming.

Excellent food and service , as always! The waiter was on hand all evening and catered to our every need. The food was delicious although I find the portions so large I couldn't eat everything.

Had a great meal. The staff are lovely. Always attentive and nothing’s too much trouble. The food is tasty and fresh. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Always get good service, nice atmosphere and great food at Hisar. We have been been going there since it very first opened many years ago!

Food was nice and the service was efficient. There was a pleasant surprise of a belly dancer that was very entertaining. Only thing that let the experience down was the cracked seats.

Great service, great food. The only complaint I had was the table was a bit difficult to get in and out of. Other than that, it was a lovely evening meal.

Great staff, fantastic tasty food as always. One of my favourite restaurants and definitely the best Turkish restaurant in South East London. I would definitely recommend Hisar

Absolutely impeccable service and quality of food. Was pretty much blown away with how tasty this place is - so much so I've recommended it to a few friends already, and they loved it just as much as I did!

Very attentive service, with a smile. Food was excellent and good value. The house wine was also quite good! Even accommodated some of the more awkward fussy eaters very well (we were a table of 7).

Amazing food and very good service, meals were served nice and quick and the atmosphere would make you believe your sat in a nice restaurant on the Mediterranean coast. I fully recommend this restaurant and it will certainly not be the last time we visit.

Great food, excellent grilled meat and beautiful meze. Very good service and nice atmosphere. Seating is well spaced and works for small or big groups.

Food wasn't grate.service was ok.i asked for a bottle of water the waitress walked past me then brang me the biggest bottle they had when I only wanted a little one

The meal was lovely, our waiter was very friendly and helpful even though we had 2 more people turning up than expected. Would highly recommend them.

Went on a busy Mothers' Day afternoon. Service was still great with no big waits for anything, and lovely food as usual. Mezze platters were nice, but it's the grilled meat (chops and mixed grills) which are always worth ordering.

Easy to find, relatively easy to park, helpful waiter (although, a little stressed out by guests being 8 minutes late). Drinks were said to be freshly made, although they seemed to be from cartons. Food was nice. Hisar Prawns were divine! But the Lamb Beyti was dry. All in all, a nice experience.

We enjoyed our meal at Hisar, the food was good and it was great value. My only minor criticism is when you give out free pitta, something to dip it in would be good. But overall it was good.

Great food, large portions and great service. We really had a lovely time at this restaurant and I would definitely recommend it in East Dulwich.

Tasty food, with a very fresh cold meze among the highlights. Generous portions - ended up taking half of my moussaka home for the next day's lunch! And a nice, personable and pleasantly understated service. We'll be coming back.

Lovely food and plenty of it. Delicious barbecued meats (shish, kofte and shawarma) and tasty classic hot and cold meze. Good value and attentive service.

Delicious and plentiful food, fast service and friendly staff. Couldn't of asked for better. My 11 year old son enjoyed his children's meal. Really couldn't fault Hisar. Certainly will be going again.

Service was brilliant, I had the combo chicken & lamb shish which was really nice but only consisted of 3 small cubes of each which was disappointing, the salad was nice, chips were dry and crispy.

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We did, however, have to ask for menus and I asked for my lamb shish to be cooked rare to medium but it came well done. A new one was cooked for me and it was superb. One of our party has dogs and a doggy bag was given to us with the bone from the lamb etc. I would recommend this restaurant to one and all and would definitely eat there again.
