Very pleasant experience all round. Drinks in the bar followed by a very tasty dinner.
Amazing food and great cocktails. I will come back soon.
Located on Great Guildford Street in London’s Southwark, you’ll find that no detail has been overlooked at Hixter Bankside. The main dining room has a wall of Himalayan salt bricks, which were also used to build the salt chamber that ages the meat at Hixter Bankside to perfection. The art on the walls is all done by local artists which brings the space together to create the stylish international dining experience that Hixter Bankside is famous for. Housed within one of London’s many ex-factory buildings, you can expect a venue featuring exposed brick, metal works and high airy ceilings, which matches the menu perfectly.
As memorable and impressive as the building is, the menu still steals the show. You’ll find everything from brunch, to small plates, seasonal mains, Sunday roast and a particularly delicious roast chicken served with sage onion stuffing and chips and gravy that’s so good you’ll forget you were supposed to share it. Hixter Bankside certainly knows how to serve exceptional international cuisine, that’s for sure. It’s perfect for both intimate evenings and large parties – and you can even get married there. One of Southwark’s most unique dining spots, you won’t regret making a reservation at Hixter Bankside.
