Howards Bistro

We arrived a bit late and had a change of party size. That was not a problem and we were made very welcome. The food was good, wholesome and well cooked.No pretentiousness here, I would go back again.

Party of 11, all the food came a the same time and it was lovely! The service was great. Would recommend Howards Bistro! Thank You!!

Excellent service and delicious food. Wide choice of starters and mains. Garlic mushrooms were lovely and beef stroganoff was excellent. Great value for money. Lovely atmosphere very relaxed.

Awesome Sunday Lunch as always. Love the roasted carrots. The girls loved the gammon.

Top quality fresh cooked food, with the extra special touch. Would recommend this place to anyone. And definitely recommend the salt and pepper chicken for starters.

Very quiet for a Saturday night, although it was the start of the school holidays and everybody would be going away or saving to go away. Food and service, as always, was excellent.

We have been to the restaurant several times now. On every occasion we have found the food excellent and the service friendly and considerate. I would heartily recommend.

The food was absolutely beautiful. We had the sunday lunch which was huge and came with an abundancce of fresh vegatables. The staff and service was also great!

Brilliant Sunday lunch, home cooked food, great friendly service. Faultless. A hidden gem in the Pudsey area. Has a good size menu. Food is served piping hot in generous portions. Will be back.

Service was really good and always with a smile. Menu very limited which i like but the specials menu had another 6 or 7 options. Food was ok, nothing special, I didn't think wow to any of it , it was just a nice meal out with family.

Real home cooked Sunday lunch. Reminded me of my grandmas whizh is an excellent thing! Loads of yorkshires and didn't mind bringing us extra gravy. Really good with the children too

Howard's is a delightful family run bistro. The staff are lovely, welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is AMAZING and we will definitely return.

Our first visit to Howard's Bistro on Saturday and it was just excellent. The food, drink, staff and atmosphere are all to be recommended. We shall certainly return and more than happy to spread the word.

Food and service was great, but they had a large group in before us so half the blackboard menu was not available, also the wine was very expensive we ate out the following day at a restaurant in central leeds and the wine was a lot cheaper.

Lovely meal ,service could be better, not cheap but what you get is good quality food,clean and friendly environment, menu could be a bit more varied.

Lovely quaint restaurant with good ambient atmosphere, service very good and the food was excellent with a good blackboard selection. Portions on the large size, but cant complain at that, I would go again.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and helpfully waitress ! Normal menu choice, with large selection of chalkboard specials. Food was lovely and very good portions. You won't be disappointed!

Lovely atmosphere, great food and the staff are brilliant. It has improved massively on its previous incarnation as an Italian restaurant, and benefits greatly from the management of Howard and Gina, both of whom are well regarded locally.

Staff couldn't do enough, cosy atmosphere, really good hearty food. Perhaps a slightly more expansive menu would be welcome but it's on just opened so I guess that may come in time? I will definitely be returning though, and recommending to friends, I think it will quickly become a local favourite.

Really good service and lovely food , the portions were really big and the quality was amazing. We will definitely be going back for more.

visited for the 1st time last night. Great good, great staff. The specials menu had a lot of good choices. Lovely little place Just what pudsey needs.

The meal and the service were first rate. The beer was disappointing. I would choose wine next time and the visit would then have been perfect.

We went as a party of 7 including three children. Scott the waiter was excellent and looked after the kids brilliantly. The food is best described as very good British pub food. It would benefit from having a kids menu, they did cater for the kids but no official menu.

Amazing once again! The food was delicious and plenty of it, service brilliant and excellent value for money! Can't fault it! We will be back.

Great food, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection, good size portions too. Very friendly staff, extremely attentive without hovering over you. Such a warm homely atmosphere.

Delicious food, I had the deep fried Camembert and the Onglet steak with twice cooked chips, varied menu and attentive and friendly staff - would highly recommend!
