good food and good services except the prawn tempura was not good as before. Like the unaju and Udon was great! Would recommend this restaurant!

Unaju (ell on rice) is perfect! It must be a brilliant experience to have a seat on sushi and kitchen bar. Nice staff and cosy place.

Another amazing meal. The sushi and sashimi is some of the best I have had outside Tokyo and prepared by a true master. Being family run really makes a difference and the staff go above and beyond what you would expect even of a Japanese restaurant. Would recommend sitting at the food bars either sushi or main restaurant if your party allows - for the theatre of the preparation. The house specialties are well worth exploring and don't order before you have had a chance to look at the daily specials.

My No.1 Japanese cuisine in London. I really like the food and service. Especially the king crab and fresh sashimi. I will come next time.

Food was fantastic, the Tamago with Eel was amazing! Sit at the counter. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately overpriced when compared to other Japanese places in Mayfair.

Service at this place was uniquely terrible. Our waiter, who said he was the owner of the restaurant, was incredibly rude. He stated that I was not a regular customer and therefore won't comply to my wish to add 2 chairs to our table. He even had the audacity to admit that he 'could' help us but was choosing not to! BEWARE: minimum £50 spend per person at dinner. Ridiculous pricing. Been here a couple of times before and NEVER again!

Usually go back there at least once a month. They serve delicated traditional Japanese food as always. The taste and ingredients are fantastic. . Jason

Very good quality of sashimi, tenpura, miso soup, shougayaki and rice. It is almost same taste of Japanese restaurant in Japan. But little bit expensive.

Everything was excellent! Tempura was probably the best we ever ate. Black cad was fantastic. Very tiny place, so every guest has a special attention, but in a very delicate way. Perfect!

Quite pricy but totally worth it fresh sushi. This is the real authentic high class sushi served in a traditional minimalist environment. attentive staff good service Definitely will go back again.

Good location. Friendly staff. Lovely taste. What more can you ask? Ordered Unaju, which is one of my favorite, and taste was wonderful. Really goes well with pickled ginger.

Very good food. We were a large party and they went out of their way to accommodate us. That is all I have to say but Quango insist on a minimum of 25 words.

Excellent. The food is mind-blowingly good. It is expensive but every penny was well spent. The staff were attentive and gave us good recommendations on what dishes have fresh ingredients on the day.

As always, the food is extremely fresh and delicious. They make the best proper ebi tempura in town. If you want authentic Japanese food this is THE place to be.

I have been going to Ikeda for a long time and it never lets me down. It's always a great experience at Ikeda :) Would definitely recommend.

I think everything is perfect except the quality of chopsticks could be better . And the price is slightly experience but it is acceptable for us. I like the foods are very fresh and tasty and staff are so kind .

they don't have sea urchin that day lol. i wanna eat sea urchin, sushi it is so so, staff is very nice, always add tea for you :)

Great family-run restaurant. Food was prepared and served in high standard of quality. Excellent taste and super fresh selection of seafood for the sushi. A little bit pricey but really worth it.

the food tasted very nice especially unaju and sashimi. The environment is average. But the cost was a bit overprice. The staff was not bad and the tea service was great.

Food was great and location is prime but very expensive. Environment and setting are worst than expected. Would expect a more posh restaurant given price. Don't think it's value for money.

My booking wasn't shown on their dinner reservation list. I'm so annoyed and need to sit at the bar. There were another pair coming after us and but changed to table after they ordered. I'm quite disappointed about this booking system or the restaurant service.

I am a regular at Ikeda and both the food and service are excellent. All freshly prepared and high quality. I have never been to Japan, but the proportion of Japanese clients is high so I take that as a good sign!

The food was slightly above average. The service was poor, slow, and bordering on rude. The prices were high. You don't get what you pay for in this case.
