We had a nice meal at il borgo The atmosphere was just right not to noisy that you can’t hear each other talk . I thought the paintings on the walls and ceilings were very good and added to the general ambience of the restaurant. We looking forward to eating there next time we are in that part of London

Food generally was good although one of number had to return his main course as far too much chilli. House wine reasonable standard. Waiter fairly helpful but a smile would make a lot of difference!

We ate there at new years eve. Not many choices in restaurants, so we didn't expect much. Food wasn't good. I love Italian, didn't think it was possible that I wouldn't finish any Italian plate, but we both didn't finish. With the pizza you could taste the food that was in the oven before. The pasta casserole was burned black on the sides. When they asked what we wanted for drinks, I asked if they had cider. The reaction of the guy was: "For that you should be there", pointing at the bar across the street. Which was really weird was that (I think) the owner showed up at our table with a review paper and pen. Asking us to rate them while standing there looking over our shoulders. Which made it impossible to give a honest review. The restaurant overall made an untented look. A lot of chips out of plates, glasses and candles. Also there stood an dirty vase on the bar. So we wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you visit London.

Adorable restaurant, great food and service. Wish they had played music that matched the ambiance of this adorable quaint Italian bistro. Would definately try again.
