Have been to IL Capo on several occasions. The food is lovely, with 2 courses for £10.95 on lunch menu. The wine is also very good and the service is excellent.
1st time we visited IL Capo and had a enjoyable experience. Food was very well cooked and nicely presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
The first time we went it was flawless, however on our next visit .. we had a reservation booked at 6.30 we waited 23 minutes for a waiter to come over just to take our order who never took the time to even advise of the specials .. I asked for penne carbonara which if the waiter would have had a note pad for our order this would not have happened , my husband had order a seafood meal which he said the lingustine was over cooked he couldn't even eat his meal he was covered in the tomato sauce trying to peel the shell ..
We enjoyed illcapo as we always do we bit of a hiccup with drinks when we arrived and had to send my main course back as it was cold but two be fair it was very busy and staff were under a lot of pressure would I go back deffenatly ....
Service 1st class . Menu extremely varied to suit most tastes at lunchtime . Family lunch 7 people , 3 starters 7 mains 3 alcoholic drinks the rest water or coke . Total bill £145. Cost of drinks is over the top and was a slight blip on an otherwise thoroughly good lunch .
