A good local Italian restaurant with some interesting pasta options. The lInguini polipetti was particularly good. Service was friendly and the wine excellent. All very reasonably priced.
It is a very cozy place. I usually go with my family and my daughter loves it. The food and wine is great, it is authentic Italian food. I really recommend it if you want a nice evening out to unwind from your daily doing. I hope you enjoy it too ;)
Authentic italian. Great food. Friendly staff. We had the pizza rotolo, which was epic. Price was a bit higher than usual chains but atmosphere was a bit special so probably worth it.
A very busy, family run Italian restaurant. The hosts can't do enough for you and the quality of the food is great. Book early to avoid disappointment or having to take away.
Great restaurant. Wide range of customers from couples to families. Food just perfect. Atmosphere buzzy. Service delightful. Good menu and specials. A proper local eaterie.
Excellent meal fresh authentic Italian cuisine friendly service good value for money Sea bass was beautifully cooked with crispy skin on a bed of delicious spinach
Excellent in every way, very friendly, efficient and speedy service. The recommendations for their food and wine were absolutely perfect. Great experience and so we will be eating there again soon.
Il Girasole is a neighbourhood restaurant with excellent Italian food which is very well presented. Service is very good and the main courses and starters are reasonably priced. The atmosphere is busy and friendly. I would recommend the specials which are on offer each day. All in all, this is becoming a favourite restaurant with many locals in the Earlsfield area.
Excellent food with a nice variety on the menu, came across as a family run restaurant with good service and a genuine care for whether you liked your meal.
Fantastic restaurant, fantastic food. You know you've found a gem of an Italian when the owner is Italian, waiters/waitresses are Italian and all the tables around you are Italian! Always a good sign
We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at Il Girasole. Wandsworth residents are lucky to have this excellent neighbourhood Italian restaurant where the food is delicious, service friendly and the ambiance very comfortable. My deep fried calamari and courgette mix was very special as was my friend's goats cheese starter. The pasta of the day and sausage and lentil stew were also very good, as were the pannacotta said. Including wine the bill was £64 for two, good value, and we shall return.
Great authentic Italian with reliable staples, fresh specials and always a warm welcome . Highly recommended - equally good for a quick lunch or a longer special event.
Lasagnette was dry to the point of cracking when I tried to cut it, but somehow with the blue cheese sauce the softer parts I still enjoyed. Other dishes were very nice as usual, service as friendly as always.
As ever, a wonderful experience at our favourite neighbourhood restaurant. Great service, brilliant authentic food - the lamb special was particularly tasty - and a very lovely night had by all.
We had an excellent meal at il Girasole. The food, service and atmosphere were all great. I can recommend this restaurant as somewhere to go.
Great pasta, definitely go again. Place has a nice vibe, good service and affordable. Probably the best tortellini I have had, hard to fault really.
Simple food cooked really well with delicious fresh produce. Lovely service too.
Delicious food, as always. Variety with menu...wonderful service, charming staff. And my favourite restaurant. That I go to over and over....everyone I recommend it to agrees with me!
Lovely Italian food, very sweetly decorated place, friendly service, perfect little terrorist in the local neighborhood. Everything we tried was exceptionally delicious, flavours both robust and delicate. I miss Italian cuisine in London so this was a lucky find. A gem.
