Neighbourhood and local restaurant. Very pleasant and helpful staff (needed wifi to do work). Food arrived in good time, and was excellent quality. Very good value - chose the lunch specials.

A wonderful atmosphere with welcoming and helpful Italian staff. This restaurant gives you a real taste of Italy both in its food and decor. The food was fresh, honest and typically moorish. If you want a casual and family friendly Italian meal with high quality food and wine, this is your place. We went on a Saturday at 7pm and it was packed. Book in advance!

Fantastic, fresh food and friendly staff. New specials, unique ingredients and the biggest prawns I've ever seen. We had a meal for 4 which was well priced and absolutely delicious.

Excellent, as ever. Lovely service, delicious food without frills - just fresh ingredients cooked lovingly -, and a lively atmosphere. What more could you want of your local restaurant? We feel welcome every time, and will keep coming back. It's great with kids too - the owner and all his staff/family are so friendly towards them. Not a given in London.

A very busy, family run Italian restaurant. The hosts can't do enough for you and the quality of the food is great. Book early to avoid disappointment or having to take away.

Authentic italian. Great food. Friendly staff. We had the pizza rotolo, which was epic. Price was a bit higher than usual chains but atmosphere was a bit special so probably worth it.

Il Girasole is a neighbourhood restaurant with excellent Italian food which is very well presented. Service is very good and the main courses and starters are reasonably priced. The atmosphere is busy and friendly. I would recommend the specials which are on offer each day. All in all, this is becoming a favourite restaurant with many locals in the Earlsfield area.

Fantastic restaurant, fantastic food. You know you've found a gem of an Italian when the owner is Italian, waiters/waitresses are Italian and all the tables around you are Italian! Always a good sign

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at Il Girasole. Wandsworth residents are lucky to have this excellent neighbourhood Italian restaurant where the food is delicious, service friendly and the ambiance very comfortable. My deep fried calamari and courgette mix was very special as was my friend's goats cheese starter. The pasta of the day and sausage and lentil stew were also very good, as were the pannacotta said. Including wine the bill was £64 for two, good value, and we shall return.

As ever, a wonderful experience at our favourite neighbourhood restaurant. Great service, brilliant authentic food - the lamb special was particularly tasty - and a very lovely night had by all.

Lasagnette was dry to the point of cracking when I tried to cut it, but somehow with the blue cheese sauce the softer parts I still enjoyed. Other dishes were very nice as usual, service as friendly as always.

Lovely Italian food, very sweetly decorated place, friendly service, perfect little terrorist in the local neighborhood. Everything we tried was exceptionally delicious, flavours both robust and delicate. I miss Italian cuisine in London so this was a lucky find. A gem.
