About India Quay - Port Solent

India Quay of Portsmouth offers stylish Indian dining that goes beyond the norm of what most people in town expect from an Indian restaurant. On The Boardwalk at Port Solent, the India Quay dining space is contemporary, chic and complemented by service that’s always bang on point. All that considered, it’s a fantastic Indian restaurant in Portsmouth before you’ve even got to the food. The menu consists of the classics you know and love, of course, but also even more India Quay signatures that you may not have tried before. We’d recommend a mixed sharing platter to begin, followed perhaps by a sizzler or the irresistible lamb desi. India Quay is one of the more popular restaurants a Port Solent so we’d certainly advise booking ahead. Enjoy!

When we arrived it was busy and very noisy. We did get our drinks and starters fairly quickly but then we had an hour and half wait to the main course. It did appear they were short staffed as tables weren't being cleared. Good they put their priority on serving but not pleasant to see very messy tables. The food was lovely well presented and piping hot and the staff very apologetic. We definitely would try again as hopefully our experience was as assured by the Manager a one off.

My 3rd visit and didn’t disappoint . There is a good lunch menu - really tasty Thali dishes. The staff and manager are nice, swift service - I love this place!
